(This is back in Coda's POV)
Dinner was the fish that Bell caught, and some noodles. I mainly ate the noodles. I put another spoonful into my mouth, as Cyrus picked up his plate and started washing it.
I flowed after him, cleaning mine then attempting to put it in the cabinet. I had to climb up onto the counter to do so. I tugged on the wooden door, but it swung back to fast and I fell back off the counter.
I squished my eyes shut waiting to hit the cold floor. The impact never came, instead I heard a high laughter and warm arms were wrapped around my waist. I looked behind me to see a howling Cyrus.
I could feel my cheeks start to burn being wrapped in his arms. I squirmed out of his grip and punched him in the arm.
"What kind of 'thank you for catching me' is that!"
I smiled and ran into my bedroom, diving under my bed. I heard Cyrus' heavy footseps enter. I giggled blowing my cover.
Cyrus grabbed me and pulled me out from under the bed and chucked me over his shoulder. I tried to hold in the squeal but it didn't work!
Cyrus laughed, "BELL HELP!" I yelled through laughs. Bell leaned on the door frame, she smirked and strutted off.
Cyrus threw me into the bed and started to tickle me. I squealed and tried to roll away, but he held me there. I began to lose my breath from the laughter.
"Cyrus stop," I heaved out, "I can't breathe!"
He drew his hands back and stopped the tickling. Our stomached ached from laughter, and my lungs were aching.
Cyrus flopped down next to me causing a sink in the mattress. I sat too close to the crater and fell into him. Cyrus smirked and pushed me to my side of the bed.
"Night time, poppet." I sighed and snuggled under the covers. They were more comfortable than I had ever had before.
"I'm not tired!" I couldn't help but whine, I was having fun! I curled up in the pillows and yawned, "I promise I'm not sleepy."
Cyrus smirked and we made a deal. If I could stay away, while laying in bed for one hour, then Cyrus would let me come play.
I agreed and grabbed at my seahorse. My eyelids dropped, but I willed them to stay open. It didn't work.
—————-time skip to late that night——————-
I was laying all snug in my bed. The covers were tight around me...almost too tight. I tried to push them down but they wouldn't budge.
I yelled for Cyrus but he never came. My eyes darted to the door way and Belle was standing there smirking.
I looked to the window to see the man in the robe standing there. He was just watching me. My heart was racing. "Bell. Help he's here." I called. She just rolled her eyes and slammed my door.
"Hey..poppet." I felt someone shaking me. "Poppet."
I opened my eyes and saw Cyrus looking down at me worried. My hands were shaking and I was sweating.
I leapt into his arms and curled into his chest. He rubbed calming circles into my back, but my sobs didn't stop.
My heart was pounding, and my head was spinning. "H-he's here Cy," I pointed to my window but kept my head down.
Cyrus pulled away and tired to get to the window. I grabbed his wrist, "Don't-" I got interrupted by a hiccup, "don't leave me." My voice was cracking and wavering.
Cyrus wrapped his hands around me and picked me up. He carried me to the window and pushed it open. The cold air hit me and I pushed closer into Cyrus.
He pushed his head out the window and I tried to control my sobs.
"Go away!" I hiccuped again, "or else m-my big bwother will hurt you!"
Cyrus grinned sweetly and pulled me closer. I buried my head into his neck. "The man who pushed me."
Cyrus shifted me so I was dangling to me by my arms. He crumpled me into a pile on my bed. Cyrus ran his hand through my hair.
"I'm going to get you some water ok?" I nodded shyly as Cyrus walked towards the kitchen.
When he was a far way down the hall Bell stepped into the doorframe. She came into my room and sat on my bed. "You should learn how to shut your mouth at night."
I got pale and my breath hitched, "why...what do you mean Bell?"
She pushed me back into the pillows, "I mean that when it's 3:00 you should man up and sleep. Maybe the man wanted to take you. It's not like Cyrus would miss you."
My sobs picked back up. And I shrunk away from Bell. She hissed, "when Cy comes back you will tell him noting."
I nodded scared and she went away. Cyrus came back into the room and pulled me closer to him, "what did Bell want?"
I told him everything between sobs. It just came out, I couldn't help it. Cyrus was fuming, but I insisted that he didn't give her a consequence.
He nodded and put me back under the covers. He pulled the covers up to my nose. My eyes were still teary and my nose was running.
Cyrus handed me the seahorse who I named Vix. He gave me some of the water and stared making his way toward the door.
"Wait don't leave me!" I yelled before he left, "I need you."
Cyrus came back to my bed and laid down next to me. He put his head on my pillow, and his big arm around me. I cuddled close to him and sniffled.
"I love you bwother." I choked out shutting my eyes.
Cyrus put his hands on my back and responded simply, "I love you too poppet."

This chapter was so cute! Bell is so mean and it drives me crazy, but I love the relationship between Coda and Cyrus. It was weird posting the same day twice lol. Thank you all for reading
