So, I probably figured I should've done an A/N at the beginning of this fan fiction and not after the fourth chapter...but whatever. 

Hey all!! This is my first fan fiction I've published on Wattpad or on any fan fiction site whatsoever, so this is super exciting for me! I've written a bunch of stuff with my best friend on Google Docs a ton. But now it's getting serious. LOL You've all been super supportive so far, and thirty-five reads in almost a month is awesome!!! Even though that's probably small on the big scheme of things, it means a lot to me, so thank you!!

First off, I want to point out that I will eventually change the cover the book. I'm planning on drawing it myself, but I haven't found the time. That darn homework...always in the way...High school isn't always fun, just warning the younger generation. 

Secondly, just want to say that I do not write smut, never have and never will. So don't expect it. I'm keeping this fan fiction at a PG to a PG-13 rating. Also, there will be no swearing at all in here. I KNOW I used the word "bastard" in one of the previous chapters, but that was a one time exception. Is that even considered a swear word? I don't know, it was appropriate for the situation. All I know is that it's a not-very-nice word. But I promise there will be no cursing. 

Third, I promise you guys I will not give up on this fan fiction. I will NOT abandon it!! I have a ton of ideas and they're all written down, I can't wait to put in all the exciting plot twists and amazing backstory!! I'm planning on having a chapter dedicated solely to the magic and world building of this alternate universe. I'm really proud of myself for coming up with all this, so I'm really pumped to get it all published! I absolutely love stories with elves and magic, they're my favorite! (Huge fan of Lord of the Rings.) But I can tell you that I can't predict the schedule of how often I will update so...😬 Sorry about that inconvenience. I will ATTEMPT to update every Friday, but I won't make any promises. 

Fourth, if you don't ship Shidge, then don't read this. Or, do read it, but please, no hate in the comments. This fandom is notorious for its ship wars, but since the fandom is practically dead now, I don't want any of that here. I will also attempt to include my other two ships, Allurance and Hunay, (Hunk x Shay) in here if I can. I haven't really scoped out any other characters yet, but I will include them, I promise. (Coran will be in here too, don't worry about our gorgeous man.) 

In honor of Valentine's Day, I'll be making a separate work for a few of my favorite ships from Star Wars, Voltron, The Dragon Prince, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Miraculous Ladybug, and Your Lie in April. Sooooo, check that out!!
