Ethan's P.O.V

I woke up, siting up quickly in the process, and looked down at my lap. I haven't had a nightmare in a while. Well, technically that wasn't necessarily true but it's whatever. I sighed and rubbed my eyes before laying back down. But when I tried to wrap my arm back around he wasn't body that used to be next to me, my arm just hit the mattress.

"Derek?" I sat up again and looked around my room to see if I could see him, but I couldn't. Did he leave? Did he go back to his house? Is he safe? What if it's somehow my fault? What if he got hurt?

My paranoid thoughts were cut short when the delicious smell of bacon hit my nose. It's been a while since mum cooked breakfast. I'll be thoroughly enjoying this.

"So what's the special-" I looked up from the bottom of he staircase only to see Derek..... only in a pair of boxers."Occasion.." I finished my sentence still shocked. "Fuck code red hot shirtless guy in my kitchen cooking breakfast for me. God is on my side today..."

"Did you say something?" I jumped slightly as Derek turned to look at me with a smile." What? No I didn't say anything." I cleared my throat and tried to act cool.

"...Is that for me?" I tilted my head with a slightly hopeful look. He just chuckled."Why? Do you think everything is for you?" My eyes widened in shock and I quickly tried to stutter out a response." I-u-uh I-I didn't mean it that way um I was just."

"Dude chill out it's fine I know what you meant." He laughed and walked over to me with a plate of eggs and bacon." Enjoy."

I was already blushing but now it just got worse, I could see his abs up close now." Thank you." I turned away just to face Derek again.

"Need something else?" He raised an eyebrow and I didn't reply as I set my plate down." Are you okay?" His wounds were almost completely healed they could still be seen but still. that had to be not normal. But... I didn't want to seem stupid. Maybe the wounds weren't as bad as I thought they were? I'll ask about it later." What? Sorry, I was just deep in thought..."
