Chapter 4: OK, Rude.

I woke up in shock as I remembered what happened while I was in the hospital. The last thing I'd seen was Demir's stupid face as I realized what this man had just done.

Looking around me, I noticed that I was in a moving truck. Where we were going? I had no clue.

Next to me, Demir sat on his phone.

Oh, how I wanted to hurt this man.

As I was about to follow my mind and reach over to grab him, my hands yanked down.

I looked at them and saw handcuffs on them.

" YOU HANDCUFFED ME?!" Demir looked over at me.

"Yes. You never know what you might try to do." He said before looking back down at his phone.

"OH OKAY COMING FROM THE MAN WHO DRUGGED ME AND DRAGGED ME OUT OF THE HOSPITAL." I shouted at him.

"Actually, we didn't drag you. You were placed in a wheelchair and rolled out." He paused and put his phone in his pocket, " Also, I gave you the option to come peacefully."

I threw my head back, " Peacefully? I'm a grown woman! You don't own me despite what you may think! I deserve to be happy!"

"See, Miss Mitchell, happiness is overrated. We went over this in the hospital. I do own you, technically because you worked for Pau-" I interrupted him.

" Both you and Paul can FUCK OFF!" I spat at him.

I was livid. This man was playing games with me, with my life. Yes, I know of Paul and his dealings. But I wasn't involved with any of his shit. Why should I have to suffer for his wrong doings? Hadn't I suffered enough?

He sighed " As you come to know who I am, you'll understand how much of a luxury you have to talk to me as you do now."

This made me laugh. One thing my dad taught me was that no one person is better than the other because at the end of the day, we all bleed the same.

I really felt that as I looked at Demir.

"Sir we're entering through the eastward entrance." The driver, whom I hadn't paid attention to until now spoke.

"Stop at the clinic." Demir ordered.

The driver nodded and kept driving.

My skin began to feel prickly as we got closer to wherever it was we were going.

"So how long are you going to keep me here before I can leave?" I asked as I looked out the window.

All that surrounded us was forests and greenery. Even if I tried to escape, I'd have to get through all of this. Not to mention, I'd been sleep so God knows where we are and how long it would take for me to get going.

Plus, with all of my injuries; so my fractured right shoulder, sprained wrist and broken left ankle I realistically would not make it far before having to turn back for help.

"Who said anything about leaving?" Demir said quietly.

I whipped my head towards him to see if he was serious.

His face showed no expression as he looked at me. For some reason, this really pissed me off.

"What do you mean? Put all bull shit aside," I shifted so that I sat facing him, " You can't seriously keep me wherever we're going. I told you I don't know anything about Paul that you don't. Why would I conspire with him when you saw that I escaped FROM him?!"
