456 DAYS BEFORE
Angel was so done with boys.
She was tired of their stupid ways, and the way they would break her heart. They never treated her fairly, and now for the second time this year she was being dragged around the mall with her friends, as they attenpted to shop her problems away.
"Guys, my feet hurt." Angel whined as they pulled her along.
Her friend Cameron turned around and raised her eyebrows, "Girl," she said, "I'm wearing heels."
Angel shrugged, "Well that's not my problem." She mumbled, earning a laugh from the other girl with them, Katelyn.
Cameron glared back at Angel, "We're trying to help you out here."
Angel rolled her eyes. She longed to be back in her bed, not here. She didn't like it at the mall where she was exposed to... people. "I just want to watch Netflix." Angel replied as Cameron and Katelyn pulled her into another clothing store.
Angel groaned as she stepped in, freeing herself from her so called friends grasp. She rubbed her wrists and glanced around, seeing n arrangement of sweaters and band t-shirts hanging on the racks. She smiled brightly and strutted over to them, her troubles vanishing as she laid her eyes on an All Time Low t-shirt.
She pulled it off the rack and smirked. It was the last one left. It was perfect.
"You're gonna buy that?" Cameron sighed from behind her.
Angel turned to them and nodded. Katelyn and Cameron exchanged glances.
"That shirt's for guys." Katelyn told her.
Angel shrugged, "Who cares? It's not like I'm trying to show off my 'curves'."
Before Katelyn could reply to this, Cameron was talking.
"Jesus, who the hell is that?"
The two other girls turned their heads, their eyes landing on a guy with his hair died a bright strawberry color.
"He looks like a damn highlighter." Angel said coldly as she licked her lips.
The boy looked up suddenly, his eyes catching hers. He gave her a small smile before going back to looking at band shirts.
"He's kind of hot." Katelyn murmured as she watched him.
Cameron hit her arm, "Don't watch him!"
"Ow!"
Angel shook her head and proceeded to pay for her shirt. She turned to the counter in which she'd placed it momentarily, only to see that it was gone.
She furrowed her eyebrows. "What the-" she looked over at the band shirt area again.
The strawberry color hair guy was gone too.
