Chapter 4

I unchanged and made my way through the halls. I had my headphones in listening to "I hold on" by dierks bentley. I wanted to take the late bus home around 3.

I have to study for exam next week. that means the beep test and writing the test for two days. the boys just have the beep test and playing a football game after.

I was going out the door to the front steps. a F150 pick up truck stopped my way to the sidewalk. Cameron was in the driver's seat gesturing for me to get into the truck.

"In a million years I would have never suspected you for a truck guy" I yell through the open window.

"Would you like a ride or not?" he yells. I smile and looked at the ground. I looked back at him and nod. he gets out and opens the passenger door for me.

I smile at him and walk down stairs like a princess, held out my hand for him to take. he played along with, as he grabbed hand and pulled me into a hug.

He pulls me into a dip. my heart pumping out of my chest, my breath became more heavier. he pulled me upright and we stayed there for a second. his grip became tighter on my back. "where to?" he asks as he loosens his grip on me than slowly moves to my hips.

"Library" I tell him, he let's go of me. he moves towards the truck and gestures for me to get in. I stand there for a minutes then hop in the truck.

He close my door then moves around to his side. he gets in and turns it over. the engine roars to life and flys by the school. "where's the library?" he asks me. I look at him while he looks at the road. "it's just downtown" I told him.

We made our way through town then come to the downtown. "just turn down here and then you can drop me off at the corner" I tell him, we made the turn. The truck stopped and I grabbed my stuff, then unbuckled.

I open my door and hop out. I pull my bag over my shoulder and put my headphones in. then I pressed play on Keith urban "cop car". I start walking down the street but, I didn't see matt's car pass by yet.

I turn my head and look at matt's truck still sitting at the corner. Cameron is on his phone with his truck in park. I pull out my phone and text him "what are you doing?" he looks up at me then back at his phone. "just clearing my schedule" he text back.

he looks up from his phone to find me standing at the crosswalk. he goes back to his phone, a few seconds later I got the text "no I just realized that there's a really cute girl that is going to the library right now ;)"

I smile, then look up at him. he smiles too. "maybe you can drive that really cute girl to the library?" I text as I grab my bangs and ouch them out of my face. He nods to my statement and turns the truck on again.
