Chapter 9

we had enough time to get backstage area. maybe I had enough time but he didn't and then it hit me. He wasn't just a random stranger, he was Luke Hemmings.

What does he want with me? He could have any other girl in the world that would love him and he chose me to bring me backstage. what was he thinking?

He basically was dragging me behind him. We were only like 10 feet away from the actually entrance of backstage. He waved to the guy and let him pass. Luke lets go of my hand for one second and I felt something pull me back.

I look behind me to find the man that was the guard for the entrance had me by the elbow.

"Luke!"I yelled. he was far in front of me. He turns around fast and looks at me.

"Jim, she's with me." Luke yells behind him. Jim looks down at me and I smile at him. His strong grip lets go and I catch up to Luke.

He stares at me for ten seconds then goes back to get ready on stage. He puts something in his ear and grabs his guitar. He looks up from it, and grins at me.

He says something but I can't hear him. "what?!?" I yell at him. He smiles in embarrassment. "kiss me!" He yells over the screaming fans in the stands. He was getting cocky.

"Why?!?" I yell at him. I just met him and he's a superstar but I hardly know him or even said ten words.

"Good luck I guess,"he steps closer to me. He slowly grabs my face and pulls me in.

"Now 5 seconds of summer!" The announcer came on. I felt Luke's breathing on my forehead, I look up at him and he bites his lip.

"Maybe next time" I say. he winks at me then runs onto the stage. I was about 5 seconds away from kissing him. Imagine kissing Luke Hemmings right before his own concert. Wow. It blew my mind.

I look around me to see if anyone saw what almost happened. why did this happened to me, with Cameron and now Luke. I should just buy a shirt that says "very kissable" across it.

It was very loud back here, and there was very few people. I didn't know what to do since Luke was the one who brought me back here. I found a wall right near the stage and sat down with my back against it.

I put my head in-between my knees. the music blasting in my ears and I close my eyes. I felt a tap on my shoulder, I quickly look up to see a tall man wearing a red shirt, Jean vest, black jeans and work boots. his head was shaved and a big smile on his face.

"I'm allowed to be back here, I have a pass if you want to see it" I say, he extends a hand to help but I ignore it.

"No need" he grins, I smile back to greet him. he also looks so familiar to be honest.

"Are you here by yourself?" He asks scanning me over, I give him a look.

"I was here with Luke but he's on stage" I tell him playing with the ends of my shirt. I finally look up at home and he also has a British accent.

"Oh, how do you know the famous Luke Hemmings?" He asks. I hardly know him, all I knew that he was cocky and cute in fact.

"Long story" I say not informing him of the story of me knowing Luke for two minutes.

"I've got time" he says. I see his smile grow bigger and the corner of my mouth tugs up into a smirk.

so i changed my book now to high hopes because i thought it would be a better fit to the story and i listened to this one song called "high hopes"by kodaline and it was a remix. so if you wanna listen to that i will put the link in. sorry i havent been updating much with exams and school. but i will try so hard to post every month or around there.
