"Harper!" my brother calls up the stairs. "Are you nearly ready? We're leaving in ten minutes."
"Okay!" I shout back, curling the last piece of my dark brown hair.
I quickly shove my silver heels on, throwing my phone into the matching small clutch along with some money and essentials.
"Come on Harper!" my older brother's impatient voice yells up the stairs once more.
I roll my eyes, grabbing my clutch and taking one last look at myself in the long mirror on the back of my door. "I'm coming!"
The short black dress hugs me in all of the right places, and I feel good about myself. Composing myself with a deep breath, I assure myself that I'm ready and slowly make my way down the stairs where my parents and two older siblings are waiting for me.
"Oh Harp, you look amazing!" Mum beams at me. She's wearing a white dress and flats, looking just as beautiful as my sister who's stood next to her.
"I learned from the best." I grin at her, watching as a smile creeps up onto her face.
"Yeah, yeah, you both look great. So does Nat, so does Dad. Can we go now? We're going to be late to my own party." Brad huffs, trying to rush the family out of the door.
I chuckle, linking arms with my older sister. "God Bradley, it starts in half an hour. We'll make it. Calm down!" I smirk, knowing fully well that using his full name will annoy him.
"Don't start another sibling war. Be like Nat and stop bickering. It's Brad's birthday! Let's go and have some fun." Mum steps in before a fight breaks out.
"After you." Brad signals his two sisters towards the door.
"I insist, ladies first." I grin, watching as he rolls his eyes but walks out anyway, taking the high ground.
The car journey doesn't take too long. As I expected, no guests had arrived yet when we walk into the huge room we booked out. Brad had really splashed out for his birthday this year. Usually he'd just go out with a few mates but this year he wanted something big.
"Jesus Brad how much did this cost you?" I playfully shove his shoulder, earning a glare from my sibling. We love each other deep down, but I live for teasing my brother.
Brad grins. "Let's put it this way, you couldn't afford it little sister."
"Oh sorry Mr Brad Simpson from The Vamps who's so rich he can afford a big room for his four friends on his birthday." I giggle sarcastically as I place my things down at one of the many round tables, purposefully picking the one closest to the bar.
"Four friends is better than no friends!" Brad fires back. Dad appears behind his children, snickering at Brad's comment.
"You two will be the death of me one day. You're too funny." he chuckles, joining us at the bar.
"Funny?" Nat questions, "I'm about to rip my ears off at their constant teasing."
"You love us really Nat." I giggle, resting my head on my sister's shoulder while the bar staff sort our drinks.
