"Have a safe trip darling." Mum hugs me, shortly followed by Dad.

"I'll make sure Brad stays out of trouble. You know how he is when I'm not around." I joke, getting a tap round the head from Mum. "Go on Harp."

Reece and the boys had gone home the night I'd been at the studio with them. I've kept in touch with all three boys, but mostly Reece.

We texted every day and called at least three times a week for the past month or so. During our call last Saturday I mentioned that I was going to London to stay with Brad and Tris for a few days, so we now have plans for a couple of days.

I climb into my car and plug my phone in, turning on my playlist to drive along to. If I'm going to be trapped in here for two and a half hours I'm going to need some music to keep me company.

Harper: About to leave. See you soon x

As I'm driving up towards the motorway I hear my phone buzz and assume it's Reece responding, so keep my eyes on the road and hum along to the song that's currently playing.

My phone buzzes again. Probably Blake or George. I turn around a corner and swear under my breath when I see the huge traffic jam in front of me.

I sit there frustrated for a while, not moving anywhere, so decide to check my messages.

Reece: Great! See you soon x
Brad: Motorways packed - just a heads up

A groan escapes my lips as I read Brad's message. If he'd messaged me just as I left I could've taken a different route. I text Reece back quickly before the cars start slowly rolling along.

Harper: Scratch soon. Traffics a mess

It doesn't take long before we stop moving completely again.

Reece: Damn that's annoying

Harper: Tell me about it

Medicine starts blasting out of my speakers and I sit back in my seat with a smile on my face. Hearing the boys' voices calms me from my frustration quickly.

Eventually, the traffic clears and I'm finally well on my way to London. When I arrive, I realise it's taken an hour extra to get here.

"Harper!" Brad calls my name as he rushes out of the door and over to my car. He must have been watching out for it.

He engulfs me in a massive hug before taking my small suitcase out of my hands. "Thank you."

"I'm such a gentleman." Brad smirks, earning a whack on the arm as I roll my eyes. "In your dreams!"

Brad carries my suitcase to the lift, pressing the button to get up to their flat's floor. He shoves open the front door and leads me to the spare room, where the bed is actually made and floor tidy for once.

"Tris has been waiting for you to get here. He's missed you." Brad grins, knowing Tristan is like an older brother to me.
