"So, what happened between you and that Reece boy last night? Your Dad told me what he saw." Mum wriggles her eyebrows at me, causing me to swat at her face.

I roll my eyes, taking a sip of the coffee in my hands. "Nothing happened. We just got to know each other. He's a part of Brad's life y'know."

"Then why didn't you talk to the other two?" Mum asks, taking a sip of her own coffee.

"Didn't catch them I guess." I sigh.

"So you're telling me that buzz on your phone wasn't him texting?" She grins, gesturing to the object on the table.

I place my mug down on a mat and pick up my phone, seeing that my mother was indeed right. I'd given Reece my number last night more than happily before going to sort my idiot of a brother out.

Reece: Hope Brad isn't too bad this morning? Enjoyed getting to know you last night x

With a sigh, I place my phone face down on the table, making a mental note to reply to his text later.

"Was it?" Mum looks at me expectedly.

"Hmm?" I ask, confused.

"Was it Reece?"

"Oh, yeah it was. Just asking how Brad is." I smile, a smirk appearing on Mum's face.

"He likes you."

"Who likes you?" Brad appears in the doorway in joggers and an arctic monkeys shirt. Our music taste is another thing similar about us two.

"No one. How are you feeling?" I ask him with pity. He must have a killer headache.

"Like absolute crap." he frowns, taking a seat between his sister and Mum.

"Where's the paracetamol or something? My head's pounding." he clutches onto his forehead.

"I'll get you some." I smile, patting his knee before standing up and walking into the kitchen. I grab some tablets and a glass of water, taking it into my brother before making him some pancakes and a coffee. As soon as I appear in the doorway with the tray his face lights up.

"You're a gem Harp." he kisses me on the cheek and tucks in.

"Well, I'll be in my room if you need me." I announce my exit and race up the stairs, saying a quick hello to Nat as she passes me.

I sit on my bed with my phone unlocked, puzzling over what to text Reece. Eventually I pull myself together and comply one.

Harper: Safe to say he's got a killer headache ;) You still around or have you gone home? X

A part of me wants him to say he's gone, the other really wants him to still be here so I can see him again. My phone pings and I reach for it quickly, reading the words on the screen with a huge smile on my face.

Reece: Still here until tomorrow afternoon. Me and the boys are recording a couple of things in a studio near your house. Do you want to come over in half an hour? X
