"You don't seem to be happy honey?" My dad looked confused.

I was shocked. "God damn, no! Of course not!"

"I don't get it.", he said with his mouth full of cake. "I thought that is what you want to do?"

I sighed. "Not really. I want to organize parties. Not concerts!"

It was five minutes ago that my dad told me about my new job. Tourmanager assistant.

"But at least you should have asked me before you said yes!" I was mad.

My dad shaked his head. "I had no time to. Alan said he needed the answer as soon as possible. You remember Alan, right?"

I nodded my head. Yes, I remembered Alan. I used to play with Alan when we were kids. Me and my family spent a few holidays in California. My dad has visited the same university like Alans mom. They became friends and even as my dad went back home to Germany, they kept the contact. My dad told me about Alans band and that they were about to do a longer tour over Germany. Because of that they searched for a temporary tourmanager assistant. My father thought it would be the perfect job for me.

"Dad, come on. I don't know how to organize concerts!"

He laughed. "Sweetie, you don't know how to organize parties either."

My mom came up with another can of coffee. "Alexander, I think Hannah is right. You should have ask her first.

"Thanks mom." I sticked out my tongue.

"Parties, concerts... It's all the same!" My dad took his second piece of cake. "You should call Alan."

I sighed. "Yeah, maybe."

****************

It took almost one minute til I heard Alans voice. "Huh?"

"Alan? Hey it's me, Hannah."

After a few seconds he laughed. "Oh hi! Good to hear your voice. What's up?"

"I thought it would be cool to talk about a few things.", I said smiling.

"Sure. Just ask me what you like to know."

We talked two hours on the phone. Alan was a sweetheart. He tried to answer every of my questions as good as he could. And finally he took away all my concerns about the job.

"Trust me, Hannah. It will be more fun than work for you.", Alan was calm. "And you are not alone. Dan our tourmanager is there all the time, okay?"

"Alright, I guess I will do it."
