It was friday night and the bar was full of people. I was glad that I already booked a lounge part earlier that day. On our way to the bar, Austin and me didn't talked with each other. Still I had to think about this akward situation in our hotel lobby. Of course I knew that Lisa was probably Austins girlfriend. But I didn't wanted to ask him. And to be honest, I didn't wanted to know if I was right. I liked Austin, maybe a little bit more than I should. He was handsome, always positive and nice, and he had an awesome smile.

I felt him walking close behind me as we made our way through the crowd. Suddenly Austin grabbed my hand. I turned around.

"Do you have a minute? I want to talk with you.", he said. I nodded.

"Guys?", I yelled against the loud music. "What you do you wanna drink? Austin and I are going to the bar!"

The answer was easy. Beer and Whiskey. So we made our way to the bar.

"Hannah, I'm sorry. I didn't wanted to be rude.", Austin said after he ordered the drinks.

"No, it's okay. You weren't rude."

"Yes, I was. I don't know why I just walked away." He scratched his head.

"Austin, really, it's okay. This Situation seemed to be uncomfortable for you." I layed my hand on his upper arm. "Don't bother."

He smiled. "Well, I hope it is really okay."

"Please... it's like I said." That one question was on my mind. Now or never... "Is Lisa your girlfriend?"

Austin looked at me confused. He said nothing for a few seconds and it seemed like he had an inner conflict with himself.

"No, I don't have a girlfriend.", He said finally.

"And who is she?" Oh god, I sounded like a stalker. "Nah, forget that. It's not my business."

"She..", Austin stopped and struggled. "Fuck, what am I doing here?" He was rubbing his neck. "Yeah, Lisa is my girlfriend."

I didn't thought that this would hit me that hard. This was the first time I realized that Austin was more for me than just a little crush.

"Yeah, okay that's fine." I heard myself saying. "I think we should search for the other guys."

Austin grabbed my hand again. "Hannah..", he was sad. "Can we just have fun tonight? Let's forget about it and maybe we can talk tomorrow?"

I nodded. "Sure. Just like you want." Then I took four beer bottles and turned around to walk away, just like he did.
