Hello again!

I'm sorry that it took so long to get the next chapter out, because I've had to deal with a lot of things currently...but I've noticed that the original story has more than 1K views! That's amazing!

I'm so glad that you're all enjoying this story, and I didn't really expect it to blow up so quickly, but thank you all anyway!

The sweet scent of a butterscotch-cinnamon pie and the sun shining through the windows was what woke Lily up, the girl getting out of bed and rubbing her eyes, before spotting a slice placed on the floor near her.

Glancing around the room for anyone else, she realised that they all must have woken up earlier than her. In truth of it all, she gladly welcomed sleep the moment her head hit the pillow - to be free from all stress and worry, to forget about watching Frisk die over and over on that screen...

Trying to hold back the feelings of nausea creeping in at the thought, she reached down to pick up the baked good; whoever had made it knew their craft, for it looked, smelt and most likely tasted delicious. It made her feel more at home than she had been before, at least.

Before they all met Frisk and the others, Lily had felt terrified; she had woken up in a place that clearly wasn't her own home, along with some other humans and monsters. Upon seeing her brother lying on the floor, she had immediately ran over to him to wake him up, and soon some of the others did as well.

The fish lady...Undyne, she remembered - immediately summoned her spear at the sight of the humans around and had begun to yell at all of them in an instant, Alphys and Papyrus trying to reason with her but to no avail.

Miss Grey and Mr Rutrow were in a heated argument, the former more full of sorrow and the latter simply furious.

Abigail had sat in the corner, trembling like a leaf with her hands over her ears while Robin attempted to soothe her, and Asgore looked like he wanted to say something else, to stop all of this, but he couldn't.

Mettaton, being a robot, was in a state where his body was shut down - Alphys had to reactivate him to get him up to speed on current events, in spite of how confused she was herself.

Then, they heard a bang from the kitchen - and that was when they met Frisk.

The girl took a deep breath, letting the taste of cinnamon and butterscotch overwhelm her senses: all of them were scheduled to watch another episode of that show, but she didn't know if she would be ready. They still didn't know where they were, what had brought them here or why that show was there for them to watch.

Did time even pass here? Was her and Cam's mother still out there, worried sick about them?

Lily stopped eating, setting her plate off to the side as she felt tears begin to make themselves known. She couldn't cry - not here. She had to be strong...maybe they'd be staying here for a while, but she'd just have to get used to it, right?

Right?

She covered her eyes, letting the tears fall for what felt like an eternity. There was nobody to comfort her in that room, nobody to get them out of this place, nobody they could call for help.

That is, until she saw a bright light in the corner of her eye; it seemed to be spreading, consuming the entire room. She could hear something, a droning noise getting louder and louder as she could only watch in shock, for it sounded like screaming...

Lily remained where she sat, wanting to run or call for help, but her fear was simply too overwhelming. She curled up into a ball, bracing herself for something to attack... and before she could even react, a figure tumbled out from the light, making a rough landing on the carpet just as it all disappeared.
