Earlier that same day, Marco wrote the letter and headed out of the castle. He left his hoodie on the ground, leaving just his grey shirt showing. It got blown away by the wind, lost forever. Marco headed straight into the Monster Temple. He was pacing back and forth in the room trying to figure out a plan
"Ugh, the nerve of her. I swear when I get my hands on Star, I'm gonna make her wish she was never born!" Suddenly he felt like someone was watching him. Marco turned around slowly
"Who's there?!"
"Now now, there's no need to be aggressive. Not that you could ever take me on anyway." The mysterious figure walked into the light to reveal himself
"Toffee?! I-I thought you were dead."
"It pays to have an army of monsters that just love their general. They did everything just to bring me back. Now, I couldn't help but overhear you want revenge on Star and her family."
"Yes but I don't want your help. I've been around Star so I know her weaknesses."
"But have you been around her family? You've only been around Star for 2 years. All you know is her fighting skills.
"And that's all I need to know."
"But you know nothing about her childhood and you know nothing about her parents. I possess knowledge that no one else has. For instance, have you ever wondered how the Great Monster Massacre happened? Or how I lost my finger?"
Marco gasped at what he just heard. Toffee was very persuading. He contemplated on what he should do
"...How did you lose your finger?"
"Short answer........Moon."
"Hehe, I should have known. Alright, I'm in."
Toffee laughs and says "Excellent." They shake hands to seal the deal
"Let's go destroy a kingdom!"
"Slow down karate boy. There's still one thing we need to make this work."
