I sigh deeply, looking at the luggage waiting for the uber to arrive to take me to the airport. I'm going to miss this place.
I hear a short beep signaling the car is waiting for me, and I quickly grab my bags and suitcases and enter the car.
While driving to the airport, I take the letter out my bag once more, reading the information on it.
Dear (y/n) (l/n),
We are pleased to inform you you have been selected to receive an Gerudo University, College for Highly Skilled Gamers scholarship.
You are expected Friday the 27th of September, address mentioned on the back side of this letter.
Your dorm room contains 10 roommates, you included, who you will be able to meet there.
Please take this letter with you, as a proof of approval and your scholarship.
Congratulations and best wishes towards this exciting journey you're about to take!
I've been selected to join the Gerudo University! It's the university for skilled gamers, and getting in that school is seen as nearly impossible. It's still so surreal to me that I actually got in, like how big were those chances?
I stare out the window, listening to the music the driver had put on. Mom and dad would be so happy for me, I just know they are. I can feel it. I smile as I watched the dark sky above me, it was still very, very early. And just think about it, only a couple hours later I'm already at the school.
As the driver stopped in front of the airport, I thanked him and payed him. "5 stars?" He questioned and I nodded, giving him a shy smile. I'm not a social butterfly, and I get anxious quickly. But it's nothing I can't handle, after all a lot of people have this.
I drag my luggage behind me, walking towards my gate.
This is going to be awesome.
