"Hwan." I looked at Lutin who appeared from thin air. "I'm a bit busy right now." "I get that, but Keonhee wants you to meet him somewhere." I quietly sighed then had Lutin fetch Youngjo. After a while, Youngjo sauntered in with Lutin and Foletto. "You rang?" "Could you take over for me? Keonhee apparently needs me and Dongju and Seoho are out." "What about Geonhak?" I rolled my eyes then pointed out the window. "I see...Girls." "And guys. Anyway, thank you. I promise to come back quickly." He shook his head as he took my spot. "Take your time. I don't have much to do today."

I followed behind Lutin then noticed the familiar pathway. "Why are we heading in deeper?" "It's where he wants to meet." We walked a bit farther then saw a figure looming in the distance. It smelled like Keonhee. "Hwan." I happily rubbed my nose with his then sat down. "What did you call me out here for? Aren't you supposed to be lookout?" His ears drooped. "You don't know what today is?" "Oh my...Is there a banquet supposed to be held today? I can't believe I forgot." I was about to head back until Keonhee blocked my path. "It's the reason why the marten and rabbit aren't here today." I racked my brain then gasped. "It's someone's death day isn't it?"

Keonhee looked disappointed, upset even. Nisse and Lutin both looked at me in shame. "Keonhee, tell me honestly what you see in him." "I have to agree with Nisse, Keon." Even Lutin had turned against me. "Hwan, today is the human's Valentine's Day." They looked at me expectantly. "Oh." Their faces fell. "Keonhee, it's not too late to dump him." I lied down on my stomach as I kept watch over everything. "You've been like this since you came back. What happened?" "Nothing really..." I couldn't get his retreating figure out of my mind. "Did you two break up?" "N..." I trailed off as I wasn't sure myself. "Really? On Valentine's Day at that..." I covered my face with my paws as I felt stressed. "Youngjo, could you take over for the entire day?" "What do you plan to do?" "What I should've from the start."

"Lutin, where did he go?" "Don't know." I searched the surrounding area once more before admitting defeat. "I really messed up didn't I?" "I'm not sure. Was lumping him in with meaningless things messed up?" I sighed then noticed a familiar scent. I quickly followed it then pounced onto Keonhee. "Hwan?" I licked his face then whined happily. "I'm so sorry. I cleared the rest of the day for us." "Really?" "Yeah. You aren't meaningless...I'm sorry if I made it seem that way."

I swung our hands back and forth as we walked around. "Bbq?" "That sounds pretty good." I pulled up directions to a favorite place of mine as it had been a long time since we've visited the human world. Ruling over an entire kingdom keeps one busy. "Hwan." "Yeah?" "You look cute." I hid my face from sight as he'd end up teasing me about my blushing face. "You look cute too." He kissed my cheek and made me feel like jelly.

We arrived at the place and were lucky to catch them before their busiest time. "I've never had korean bbq before." "Really? After all this time?" He nodded. "Well, today's your first." I couldn't help but smile when he did. It was contagious. "I was wrong too." "Huh?" The waitress came over and took our order.

"I should've taken into account that you have a lot to worry about than a silly holiday." "You're not at fault. It's just me." We bickered back and forth until Keonhee gave in. The food eventually arrived and we quickly dug in. "Wow, this is good!" "Would you like to come here again sometime?" "Yes!" I couldn't help but laugh as his eyes sparkled. I didn't realize how much I needed this refreshing and relaxing atmosphere Keonhee could create without doing much.

"Keon." "Hm?" "Thank you." "What for?" I gave him a brief kiss before turning back to my food. "For waking me up and showing me that I also need to just kick back and chill out." He squeezed my hand then pulled me closer by my waist. "Sometimes, you forget to take care of you. So I have to remind you." "Thank you again for that..."
