A Secret Admirer: Part 2: Logicality

Patton’s POV

    I hurried into my 0 hour class after getting here really early to plant letters in different parts of the school. I have a small-- big crush on a kid named Logan, and since it was valentines I asked his teachers if I could leave notes in their class for him to find. When walking through the door I saw Virgil sitting at his desk holding a sheet of paper. His eyebrows furrowed like he was lost in thought. Knowing him he most likely was. I walked over and stood behind him seeing a glimpse of red on the page before he looked up at me and spoke.

“Hey patton.  Your here on time for once…. ” He says jokingly.

“I’m not always late, kiddo! ” I said with a laugh. Rosa, our other friend walks over to us from putting her supplies up.

“Greetings, Patton! How have you been?” She says with a bright smile to which I smile back brightly. An idea struck.

“Howdy, kiddo! I’ve been fe-line great. What about you?” I ask noticing the pink and red cat eared headband she wore. I hear Virgil snicker.

“Really question-bark? That's claw-some to hear.” Rosa said touching one of the ears on her headband. Virgil snickered again. My smile grew. After a few seconds of silence we burst in to bountiful laughter. When I had calmed down I remembered Virgil’s sheet of paper.

“So kiddo, whatcha reading?” I asked leaning over his shoulder. He quickly covered it up with his arms. Rosa, now interested, walked to Virgil’s other side and leant down. An irritated expression crossed her face when he only covered more of it up.

“Come on, Virgil! I just wanna see what you were freaking out about before Patton showed up! ” She complained. I looked up at her with a shocked expression.

“He was freaking out!? Is everything ok, kiddo?” I asked worriedly. Virgil began to look panicked which only greatened my concern. He looks to his arms where the sheet is before looking back up at us.

“No, i’m fine. I’m just worried what you guys would think if you read it…..” Rosa and I give him sympathetic looks.

“Virgil…. You know we won't think differently of you, right?” Rosa asked.

“Really! We promise we won’t!” I say. Virgil looks down at the note one last time, and sighs.

“Fine. You guys can read it…..” Virgil grumbled. Rosa gave a small cheer of approval, and leaned back over the note when Virgil uncovered it. The note read:

Dear Virgil Liebe, you may not know who I am, but I thought you would like to! If you would to like meet me, I have a scavenger hunt for you! The theme is Disney movies! The first clue is: You may run away from me all day, but I'll always find your lost slipper. You'll find the next clue in your locker. With love, ~Your Secret Admirer!~

It was written in cursive and was in bright red ink. Looking back up I see Rosa looking shocked.

“I know that handwriting from somewhere!” She bursts out. Virgil and I looked at her in shock while she just smiled.

“You know who wrote this?! Can you tell me-”Virgil started before the 0 hour bell rang. The class went by rather quickly and soon enough the bell rang for passing period. Now all I needed to do was put the 1st clue in Logan’s locker and thus starts the day.

Logan’s POV

After my 0 hour class I headed to my locker in order to get my Geography books for my 1st hour. As I opened the door a note fell out. Carefully picking it up I read what was on the front. To: Logan. In neat handwriting. A small red heart was underneath. I folded the paper open and read what was inside.
