It has been weeks since the rebellious wrecker left the base. Ratchet had to admit, he missed the wrecker antagonizing him every day, the stupid nicknames he was called, and what he really missed most was feeling Wheelhack's presence near by. It broke his spark to its inner most core on how he treated the wrecker so badly.

Ratchet woke up late one night and went to the computer in the main room. He booted it up and tried to see if he could find the wrecker signal. He couldn't find it after looking for 15 minutes. all of his hope fell straight into the pits.

Ratchet heard a beeping noise come from the computer and there he saw Wheeljacks signal. Father's optics went wide as he quickly turned on the ground bridge and went straight into it, not knowing what he was going to through himself into.

Once he arrived, he saw the rebellious wrecker leaning against his ship, his sword dangling in his hand. Ratchet's spark sank when he saw the poor condition Wheeljack was in. His energon was really low, and he knew it was his fault. The wreckers frame was battered and covered in dust, unlike the cleanliness it was normally in. Wheeljack's optics had no life in them except for sadness and regret. He hasn't slept in days, and if he could, he probably had a spark terror.

Ratchet walked up to the wrecker slowly and said, "Wheeljack, we need to talk..."

Wheeljacks hoarse voice said, "I was wondering if you were going to show up," His dead optics looked at Ratchet's livley ones. "

Ratchet's face turned sad. He said, "Wheeljack, I didn't mean for this to happen, I really didnt. What I said wasn't true, and I didn't mean to push you away like this."

Wheel Jack cocked an optic ridge and sighed, "Theres no point in trying to fix it Ratchet, I already gave up all hope on trying to get you...."

Ratchet grabbed the mechs hand before he could turn and leave. He said, "Don't give up hope on me yet, Wheeljack."

Wheeljack scowled, "And tell me why I shouldnt."

Ratchet's face twitched before he ended up slamming his lips into the wreckers scarred ones. Wheeljack's optics went wide, and as soon as the kids started, the sooner or was over. Ratchet places a hand on the wreckers faceplate and said, "I'm sorry for everything I've ever said to you, Wheeljack. I'll admkt, I'm scared to be in a relationship because I am not ready for one. I never realized the pain I've caused you. I like you, I really do. It's going to take time for me to get used to this whole liking ordeal again."

Wheeljack's face had a soft smile form into it. HEe said, "Only if you said this sooner...." His faceplate turned into a frown.

Ratchet was confused. He asked, "What do you mean by that?"

Wheeljack sighed, "Like I said before, all the feelings that I had for you are gone. I knew I couldn't get you so I made myself forget the love I felt for you. I'm sorry that I even tried in the first place."

Ratchet was shocked by this. Her shook his head, "No no no no, the Wheeljack I know never gives up on trying! This isn't you!"

Wheeljack scowled, "That part of me is gone now. Thanks to you." I

This broke the medics spark even more. He had to fix this. He just had to. This wasn't the wrecker that he knew all those years ago. This wasn't the same mech he's seen at the base. This mech was cold and distant, not wanting anything. Wheeljack was distant, sure, but he wanted to do anything to prove that he was worth it.

The medic watched the wrecker that he didn't even recognize anymore board the jackhammer and fly away. He stood there, the moment of the two replaying in his head over and over. Only if he apologized earlier instead of waiting the weeks to do so. He never looked for the mech beacon once the whole time I told today. Deep in his spark he knew that the mech out his beacon on everyday, waiting for the medic to arrive to see him.

He messed up big time and he knew it. There was no going back, but he had a hope that he could fix this. He didn't know how, he really didnt. He transformed and made the long drive back to the Autobot base to think things over on what he could have done better.

It was his fault

Everything was his fault.
