WheelJack x Ratchet

CH 2

The wrecker woke with a sudden jolt. He looked around to see no one around. He sighed and said,"This spark terror is getting to me badly." He looked at the time. Ratchet would be here in a few earth minutes. To WheelJack, it felt like he's been sleeping for a year. His nightmare felt like it took forever. He felt...trapped in the dream if that was even possible. He then heard a knock on the side of the JackHammer. He saw Ratchet come in.

Ratchet said,"You feeling OK?" He looked at the wrecker and saw a pained expression on his face. He saw something else to. Was it...fear? WheelJack always hid fear well, but this time it leaked through. He said,"You OK Jack? You seem...scared."

WheeJack's expression turned into his normal 'hide the fear' face. He said,"Yeah, just in pain still. My right leg is killing me. "

Ratchet didn't believe him at all. He looked at the wrecker and sighed. He said,"Here, take this." He handed WheelJack some pain medicine. The wrecker took them without hesitation. Ratchet said,"The pain should subside for a few earth hours before you have to take more. If you want, you can walk for a few minutes to get the feel back info your leg."

WheelJack nodded and got up. A shot of pain went up his leg. He sighed from the pain. He limped to the main panel and started to see if the JackHammer could be fix. He could feel Ratchets eyes stare at him. WheelJack groaned and said,"Having fun watching?" 

Ratchet said,"I'm making sure you don't go down WheelJack. You are already hurt. I don't need you hurt more."

WheeJack smirked,"The doc actually has feelings. Never thought that would happen. "

Ratchet growls,"I make sure everyone is OK. Its normal for doctors to make are their patients are OK."

WheelJack said,"You always make sure I'm more OK then the others. Why do you protect me more?" He bit his lip, waiting for an answer.

Ratchet sighed. He wasnt sure on how to answer it. He said,"You get hurt way more then all the others do. You act way more tougher then you actually are. Why do you act tougher then you are?"

WheelJack turned around, and met the medic's optics. He said,"I want bots to know that I'm not some weakling. I don't want to seem sad so I bottle my emotions in."

Ratchet said,"Every not has their moments where they break down. I know you are hurting inside. Tell me what's wrong. Friends trust friends."

WheelJack said,"Ive been having spark terrors the past week. I don't know what they mean. It always ends up as someone dying...someone I trust the most....someone I care for." Tears came to the wreakers eyes. He managed to keep himself from crying in front of the medic.

Ratchet said,"Who's the one that keeps dying in your dreams?"

WheelJack shook his head. He didn't want to tell the medic that it was him that died in his dreams. The shadow in his dream said he will kill the ones I love. It always ended up as Ratchet.

Ratchet said,"Come on WheelJack, you know you can trust me. Who is the one that kept dying in your dreams?"

WheelJack sighed,"It was you Ratchet...you where the one who kept dying."

Ratchet was silent. He looked at the wreaker and saw a few tears taking down his faceplate. He kept these emotions in so long, it killed him inside. Ratchet said,"Why was I the one being killed?" 

WheelJack cried,"The shadow figure said he will kill the ones I love, and it was always you."

Ratchet walked over to the broken wrecker. He hugged WheelJack. WheelJack was stunned but hugged the medic back. Ratchet said,"You hurting like this kills me on the inside WheelJack. I want my friend to be happy."

WheelJack was hurt when the medic just said 'friend'. He had feeling for the medic that could never happen in reality. WheelJack said,"I know you do, but I never will be"

Ratchet pulled away from the wrecker and said stating at his optics,"There has to be some way to make you happy."

WheelJack said,"The way I want to be happy, is the way you probably don't want Ratchet."

Ratchet said,"And how do you want it that I won't accept?"

WheelJack bit his lip and looked down. The medic was awaiting the answer. Ratchet looked at the wrecker with a confused expression. WheelJack said,"If I tell you, you will stay away from me and not want to be my friend anymore."

Ratchet groaned,"For Primus sake, please tell me WheelJack! You know I won't hate you."

WheelJack looked at the medic and said,"I want you Ratchet."
