Riley's Pov
I put down my phone after texting Carter and got up and went to the shower. I turned my Bluetooth speaker and played music from my phone and sang in the shower I know weird right but it isn't to me I hate showers because this is where I feel the most lonely there are things no one knows and I just rather them not know because I feel like I need to help others my problems can wait. I get out of the shower and put on my pj's and I walk out of my room and ask my mom if I can talk to her
Mom: sure sweetie what's up?
Me: Um I was wondering If I could go live with my dad
Mom: Um let me talk to your dad about it and see what he thinks
Me: Ok keep me updated
Mom: will do
I go back to my room turn on my music and go to sleep
*8 hours later*
My alarm goes off for school and I start to dread another day away from both of my bestfriends going to school really sucks and I have to goes days on end without seeing either of them and texting is just not the same because I want to see their faces and just hug them they mean so much to me since I have very few friends and or people I trust. I finally got out of bed and put my clothes on and walked out of my room and into the bathroom to do my hair( up top) and makeup which is just eyeliner and mascara then go back to my room and grab my stuff for school and start walking its not to cold so im not worried what felt like forever was just 10 minuets then I was at school god I hate this school.
* Another 8 hours later*
Finally school is over thank god now I got to go home and do a crap load of stupid homework which I don't get because when in life are we gonna actually gonna do homework the teachers are supposed to teach us what life is gonna be like right? Well there isn't home work outside of school work unless you go to collage and that's your choice.
I get home and decide to text carter to see what he's doing
Riley😋:Hey carter
Carter🤓: Hey Riley, what's up?
Riley😋: nothin much. What you doin?
Carter🤓: nothing just got out of school.
Riley😋: me too. Hey I'm going to my dads this weekend wanna hang out?
Carter🤓: I would love to but I have a job I have to do sorry.
Riley😋: don't worry its fine.
Carter🤓: ok
I put my phone down and start my homework I'm so lucky I met him.
