He leaned over to peck me on the cheek, his lips were warm and soft. The peck didn't even last a second, I suddenly got upset why he didn't kiss me on the lips.
Why do I want a stranger to kiss me?
"I'll save that kiss for our wedding day." He said to the crowd, which made them go 'awww'
Out of nowhere, the staff came to us while holding a cake and a small box.
Again, did they seriously think he was proposing?!
"This cake is a special offer from the restaurant on behalf of your engagement, we want to congratulate you." The manager smiled. Then he gave the box to the boy.
When he opened it, I saw a ring.
"We already provided a ring for you." The manager said.
He gulped and looked at me nervously before taking my right hand and sliding the ring on my ring finger.
I can't believe this is happening.
He hugged me awkwardly and I hugged back, awkwardly.
We released the hug and eventually celebrated (awkardly) our supposedly 'engagement'.
This would probably be the weirdest day I've ever had, ever.
Third Person's POV
Time went by and everyone went home, congratulating the couple who still have no idea who each other was.
As they went outside to the parking lot, the boy spoke out.
"So..." He started.
"So..." She mimicked and looked down, fiddling with the ring on her finger.
"This had been a very weird day, I have no idea what happened, at all." He stopped his tracks and she also did.
"I'm Na Jaemin." He reached his hand out at the girl.
"Cha Eunbi." She smiled and shook his hand, then finally let go.
"I guess we're engaged now..?" He scratched his nape.
"Uhm, yeah I guess so." They both chuckled.
"It's pretty late, let me take you and your friends home." Jaemin offered the girl.
"No thank you, we'll just take a cab."
"Are you sure? It's fine with us." The black haired boy insisted.
"Yes, we'll be fine, thank you for the offer."
One of Jaemin's friends called a cab and now it's time they bid their goodbyes. Eunbi walked her way inside but Jaemin held her hand to stop her.
"Wait." He said and took his phone out. "I still don't have your phone number."
Eunbi took her phone out and exchanged with Jaemin's, Inputting their phone numbers.
"See you soon, dear stranger." Eunbi chuckled and bid goodbye to the boys and Jaemin before going in the cab.
"See you soon, stranger." Jaemin thought.
