As soon as Eunbi said that, Hyeolin raised her right hand up to slap her but gladly, Jaemin came in the office. All eyes on the two girls. He looked around confused as to what the employees were looking at.
"Is there something wrong here?"
The employees quickly went back to what they were doing.
Hyeolin heard the deep voice and immediately put her hand down and smiled at Jaemin.
"I was just getting to know your beloved fiance."
"This fake bitch" Eunbi cursed in her head.
"I haven't introduced her yet to everyone, how did you know?" Jaemin put his arm around Eunbi, and Eunbi smirked at the girl.
"U-uh you know, news spread fast!" Hyeolin nervously explained.
"Well, I hope the two of you would get along well!" He exclaimed.
"We sure will." The girl flashed a fake smile. Jaemin pinched Eunbi's cheek softly and left.
He became more and more energetic just by seeing Eunbi to the point that he already forgot that he was still courting her.
Hyeolin rolled her eyes at Eunbi and flipped her hair.
She just sighed and sat on her swivel chair, forgetting the moments that had passed. Fighting back would really do her no good, and she'll just look like an uneducated person.
Only an hour had passed but Eunbi already made friends, on the other hand, Hyeolin was annoyed more because of the attention that Eunbi was getting just from her first day.
Time skip>>> Break time
Eunbi's POV
"How did Jaemin and you met?" The group of co-workers looked at me with glimmering eyes.
"It's....a long story." I chuckled and sipped at the coffee that Jaemin gave me.
"We have plenty of time, you can tell us!" Jungkook begged.
"Ah, fine, fine....." They moved closer to me like kids listening to their mother's story.
"We met in....a restaurant. Unusual but yeah, while I was walking towards the exit with my friends, he suddenly kneeled down in front of me. It wasn't really his intention because he was just fixing his shoelaces. The people there thought that he was proposing, we decided to just play along because it would be embarrassing to tell the people that he wasn't really proposing."
"So you guys aren't really engaged?"
"Well, we are." I put my hand up and showed them the ring. They were at awe and I chuckled at their reaction.
"An accident turned to a love story, that's just.... beautiful." Lisa wiped her non-existent tear and we all laughed.
"But do you really love him?" Somi asked me. I stayed silent for a while with the question running around my head.
"I guess I do."
