I choked as soon as he said that, making him worry and pat my back aggressively.
"I-i'm fine."
"Did I say something wrong?"
"nO- you're just so romantic that it's sickening I guess?"
"Thanks." He sighed in relief and pinched my cheeks.
He drove off and minutes later, we stopped at a mall. We both made our way to the theaters and went to grab some popcorn and drinks then chose the movie we want, I like horror movies so I picked that.
We were waiting for our tickets when I heard a deep familiar voice.
"Eunbi?" I turned around and saw Felix.
"Felix?!" I hugged him tight because I missed him so much.
Felix and I were childhood friends, we were always classmates since kindergarten. Best friends until now but we eventually lost communication since the graduation.
I released the hug, I heard Jaemin cough intentionally behind me.
"Oh- Felix, this is-"
"I'm Na Jaemin, Eunbi's fiance." He kept a straight face while reaching his hand, Felix reached out his hand as well and shook Jaemin's, smiling.
"Congrats on your engagement! I'm Lee Felix, her best friend."
They stared at each other as I watched them, an awkward tension mixed within the atmosphere.
"oKaY, let's go then!" I broke the awkwardness and we walked to the cinemas and waited for our turn, I gave the three tickets and we went in.
I sat between the two boys as the movie started. Countless screams from the people were heard throughout the movie, it was really scary.
My body was leaned to my right and all curled up. My hands on my face ready to cover my eyes whenever a jumpscare might show. Minutes later, my hands start to loosen up, calm that there wasn't anymore scary scenes.
I was wrong.
"fUCK-" I screamed so loud along with the other people, my body was shivering as I nearly dropped my popcorn. Until I felt an arm wrapped around me.
I slowly looked up to see Felix, still looking straight at the screen while eating his popcorn on the other hand and his other hand on my shoulder, rubbing it slowly, reminding me that everything will be fine.
When I shifted my head to the left, Jaemin was already looking. He looked down quickly and shot his head to the screen.
I jolted up and fixed my position.
"You okay?" Felix asked me.
"Y-yeah." I smiled at him.
Third Person's POV
Jealousy.
The word kept on repeating in Jaemin's mind and he also kept on telling himself not to be Jealous.
"We're not even really official yet, there's no reason for me to be Jealous. Besides, he knows i'm the fiance here. I hope he knows his limitations." He thought to himself as he sighed quietly.
About almost an hour later, the movie came to an end. Jaemin stood up from his seat and cleaned his surroundings.
He was about to walk off when a hand held his and interlocked it. He looked behind him and saw Eunbi smiling at him, his heart raced so fast like it was about to explode.
Jaemin tried so hard not to smile back even if he wants to, he acted like he didn't care that she held his hand even though he was dying inside.
Felix followed behind them as they exited the theater, he suddenly got a call.
"Chan? Yeah okay I'll be there." He ended the call and looked at the two.
"Sorry, I've got to go. Nice meeting you guys!" He leaned over to Eunbi and went cheek to cheek which surprised Jaemin because he thought that Felix was going to kiss her, he was about to throw hands.
Felix just patted Jaemin's shoulder and smiled as a goodbye then he left the two. The two were stuck in an awkward silence until Eunbi decided to break it.
"Jaemin, is everything okay?" She asked and he immediately nodded, not even taking a glance on her.
She knows he isn't really okay, she thought that maybe it was about the incident a while ago, about Felix comforting her.
"I can't believe I'm doing this-" She thought to herself.
"Jaemin oppa~" Eunbi literally wanted to facepalm herself so hard at the moment.
"Are you mad at me?" She pouted as she swung their hands that are intertwined side to side. Jaemin couldn't help but purse his lips to hide his smile.
"If it's about Felix, I just got scared and he just comforted me that's all-"
"What are you saying? It's fine." He assured her. Eunbi narrowed her eyes at Jaemin and sighed.
"Jaemin-ah, I didn't mean to make you jealous, you know I'm yours and you're mine, always." She continued to swing their hands side by side.
"M-me? Jealous? nO- Ugh, maybe a little-"
Eunbi didn't let him finish his sentence and suddenly tiptoed until their faces were at the same level.
