The day we met them

Nyx's POV

It was cold and there was no trace of our mother anywhere.

'Hey Jinx lets stop for a while we need to find something we can eat' I said through my sisters and my mind link.

"*sigh* Yea your right, how long have we been looking for her anyway?" she said.

'I don't know a couple months? i kinda lost count...' I thought with a giggle.

As we were walking i noticed that we were in Death City,

'Sis careful with your powers this is home of meisters and weapons.'

"oh yea mom told us about this place, right?" she said looking at me, I could tell that she was tired and hungry but there was nothing i could do... *sigh* That stupid witch left her only daughters alone to fend for themselves if it wasn't for Jinx I wouldn't even be looking for her right now truth is she wasn't like the other witches out there she didn't torture us she was kind until our dad disappeared, then she just dropped us in the middle of know where.

"Nyx...Nyx...NYX"

'ahhhh what!! you scared me Jinx whats up?'

"Nothing much except there is a kishin egg right over there."

 'That's it? you had me scared for a sec, come on lets kill it.'

In a flash i was a monster chainsaw since we couldn't use our powers Jinx ran towards the monster jumping up and slashing the arms first.

"IT WENT THIS WAY!!!!!" said a voice in the back round. but by the time the voice got to us Jinx and i had already killed the beast, and I was getting ready to turn back.

"HEY!!! Did you slay the kishin egg?" asked a girl with dirty blond hair and green eyes with a long cout and red plaid skirt and scythe.

"Yea so..." my sister said in a mono/sleepy tone it wasn't that she had anything against the girl its that she doesn't like strangers and that's how she was I was no different. i changed back to my human form and looked at the girl as if scanning her. She looked uncomfortable with my stare so i looked away.

'Shes  meister from the DWMA and that's her weapon.'

"*sigh why did we have to run into them now?" she muttered hopefully no one heard her. There was a flash of light and a boy stood next to the girl he had on a black and yellow jacket with maroon jeans and white hair and bright red eyes.

"That was a pretty cool weapon form, but whats with what y'all are wearing?"

'lets go their annoying'

she nodded and started to walk back but we were caught by the girl.

"What do you want meister." my sister said with a sharp tone.

'Calm down they cant know about us they'd kill us'

"Wow whats with the tone." the little girl said.

"nothing can you leave us alone?" my sister asked annoyed.

"but aren't you going to go to school?"

Now it was my turn to interfere i stepped in front of my sister and opened my mind so that I was able to read the girls thought just enough not to be caught.

(MAKAS THOUGHT ARE GOING TO BE ALL CAPS)

WHATS WITH THESE GIRLS THEIR SO STRANGE ITS LIKE THEY'RE ALONE WITH ONLY EACH OTHER...

i forward the thought to Jinx to see what she had to say about it all she did was shrug like she didnt care but i knew it hurt her she always loved being a family always having mom and dad there with us we were always happy and no matter how much i pretend that i never cared about that i do miss it I miss everything but... all i can do now is try to find my mother...

THEY BOTH ZONED OUT ARE THEY OK? the girl went to grab my arm but i grabbed hers which triggered scythe boy and he had his scythe arm around my neck so then that made Jinx to pulled out her chainsaw right in front of his face. so the only one without a weapon was Blondie...

"LET GO OF HER ARM!!" said scythe boy.

"She went to grab my sister first she shouldn't have done that its kinda like a trigger you never no whats gonna happen." my sister said. I put my chainsaw down and stepped back so did my sister.

I grabbed Jinx's hand telling her that i wanted to leave she just nodded and we turned around and began to walk away again.

"Whats y'alls names?"

my sister stopped and so did i we looked at each other with a smirk. 

"Tell you what if we meet again I'll tell you ours names, but if we don't then we don't. Bye Blondie, bye Scythie." We knew that we would never see those people again unless we were at war or something so it made me giggle at the thought that they think they have a chance to know our names.

"Well I'm Maka, Maka Albarn."

"And I'm Soul 'Eater' Evens. THE COOLEST GUY YOU'LL EVER KNOW."
