can't sleep?

KID'S pov

i was walking around the house showing the girls where they will be staying when i noticed that Nyx looked tired.

"Nyx would you like to lay down?"

"............................"

"My sister doesn't speak little reaper."

"....Please don't call me that" I said with a head shake.

"awe i like it"

"call me Kid."

"whatever"

"Anyway i understand that she can't speak but cant she at least nod."

"She will if shes listening."

"what do you mean?"

"since my sister doesn't speak no one ever talks to her so she never really listens to conversations."

"oh i see"

"well you both can lay down in your room if y'all want, I'm going to go change. Liz and Patty are next door to y'all so knock on their door if you need anything."

"whatever."

I was walking to my room when i felt someone staring at me. i turned around to see Nyx.

"Yes Nyx do you need something?"

*shakes head and walks away*

okay then....

Time skip [1:35 am]

"what time is it...."

Ugh 1:35 so asymmetrical!!!!

i got up to go get a snack and saw that the light was on.

"Patty? Liz? Is that one of you? what are you doing up so late?"

i walked into the kitchen looking around for one of the girls but i did't see anyone.

"...odd."

i heard flapping and turned to see Nyx with two perfectly symmetrical black and purple wings. they weren't very big but medium size.

"nyx..."

*nod*

"you have wings?"

*shrugs and nods*

she started to fly closer to the ground where i was standing.

"is that one of your powers"

*shrugs*

"why are you up so late?"

*shrugs*

"*sigh* you know we have school tomorrow and we have to wake up at 8 so why don't you go lay down and i'll bring you snacks"

*shakes head and looks at him like he's weird*

"fine how about some tv?"

*shrugs*

"okay come on."

I started to flip through some channels and stopped on an episode of Black Butler, Sebastian was fighting the triplets at Alois's mansion. I go for the remote to change the t.v. but a cold little hand covers mine indicating not to. I turn towards Nyx and just stare at her with a light blush on my cheeks.

"Do you like this show?"

* nods frantically*

"*soft laugh* ok I'll leave it."
