a bright sun rose in the heavens.

what does sun rising mean to you?

well for you, the sun rising means a new chance, a hope. another opportunity to start a new beginning. you desire nothing but to see the sun rising every morning—it simply means to you that you are winning your own everyday fight.

you entire world shattered the moment the doctor told your parents you don't have any chance to live a normal life as everybody does. you dying doesn't scare or make you sad but seeing your parents grieve even if you're still alive broke your heart into a million pieces but you can't do anything. you basically came into this world to just die, that's just how life works, right?

the illness of your started to tear your body down the moment you entered high school. entering high school was the only time you felt so free, not caged in an empty house, but your illness ruined it all. you had to stop in order for you to maybe have a longer time when you know you'll die anyway. you had to stop because they were too scared and selfish.

instead of their children being free, enjoying life in a span of a short time, they chose you being caged again in a house—all alone without any love or care of them. maybe i'll just die not experiencing what real life means, you thought. the dream of being a photographer blew away. ever since you were a little child, you have always been fond of cameras. a child curious how a camera works.

"mr. and mrs. tsukishima, i would suggest to you that you should not let your child to school anymore. her heart is getting weaker and weaker. you might lose her if you still let her and we might get her under surgery."

"if that's what can help and save my daughter, please do." your mother begged while your dad was trying his best to absorb what the doctor said.

you just listened to them the whole time, you couldn't care less.

the vast sky vigorously gleaming.

the moon was full.

a faint smile appeared on your face, "what are you doing right now, akaashi? i miss you." you awkwardly laughed, realizing what you just said but really you were hoping he can hear you calling his name.

who's akaashi?

akaashi's just a normal boy in your school.

well...

he's a volleyball player—a good volleyball player. you never thought you would like someone who is into sports. he's very attractive, that's just it. akaashi's just your typical vice-captain—quiet and follows the captain everywhere and oh! he's the setter of the team. many girls from your school like him because he's very quiet, he doesn't really like voicing out his opinion nor likes standing out in a crowd. he doesn't like much attention, he hates it actually.

you've never literally interacted with him but he definitely caught your eyes when he played inside that court. you just watched him from afar. watched his every match in different schools, not missing even one. you were his number one fan.

you weren't going to lie but he's the most gorgeous guy you've met in your whole existence in this fucked up world. you rarely find boys attractive but him, he's an exception.

his eyes glisten as he talks.

his small pointy cute nose you want to bump.

not to miss his plump lips.

everything about him is like a drug to you, you can't get enough of him.

though you don't have a single chance with him. one thing you don't know about is he likes someone in our school. she's also a second-year if you were not mistaken, you always hear gossip around the school as he was your so-called 'famous schoolmate' and people peep into his business' all the time.

walk into your school's hallway and you would hear someone mention his name, he was the center of attention, though he hates it.

akaashi has always liked her—since freshman year, who would've thought.

akaashi was busy trying to find you everywhere. he asked his classmates and schoolmates if they saw him but no one gave him the answer he needs. after class he walked around the school with bokuto, pulling him at every corner of the school.

"akaashi, i'm tired. we've been to the library, clinic, school's registrar, gym, and etc." bokuto said catching his breathe because they've been walking nonstop. "c'mon, i'm searching for someone." akaashi started small steps leaving bokuto behind but the guy followed him running, almost tripping.

the school was already closing but he never got the chance to meet you not until he saw your close friend.

"mads!" the girl who was on her way out the campus with an earphone plucked into her ears looked back to check who was calling her. mads pulled stopped the music she was listening to. "what?" she asked blatantly.

"have you seen y/n?"

"ah... she's at home and um... she dropped out. is that all you need? can i go now?"

he stood there like a tattoo before answering the girl in front of her.

"yes! s-sure. you can go!"

he was definitely heartbroken on his way home.
