VALENTINE'S SPECIAL

Today was Valentine's Day. You weren't really the lovey dovey type. Neither was your boyfriend Ayato Sakamaki. Yeah I know crazy you were dating one of the brothers. You both met at the park on the basketball court. He challenged you to a basketball game. You were on the girls basketball team and you had heard a lot about Ayato on his team. You smiled and agreed to the game. You almost remembered it like it was yesterday. You were with your phone Ashley. She was your complete opposite. She ranged to you about cherry blossoms and candy and how happy this day was. "Y/N hey are you listening" she said as you was brought out your thoughts. "Hm" You hummed as she frowned. "Your never listening to me" she whined as you rolled your eyes. You and her was sitting in a pastry shop. "Anyways what are you and Ayato doing today" she said as she swung her legs back and fourth. "Uhm I'm not sure" I said as I looked at the ground. I dunno I don't normally do anything on this day. I also don't really care for it but maybe ...I might. I made a face. Ashley sighed. "Maybe We should give you a makeover" she said to me. "For what" I asked her. "Because Y/N Ayato would be so happy and he would absolutely love it" she said to me. Hmph. "Don't be so stubborn" she said as she stood up and grabbed my hand. I guess there was no way out of this one. She took me to the mall. "What are we doing here" I asked her. "Clothes duh" she said. I was wearing my regular basketball shorts and a hoodie with sneakers. I thought I looked fine. She looked at me and shook her head walking to a store. She picked out a lot of sundresses. "Is this really necessary" I asked her as she nodded quickly. "Yes very" she said as she handed me another. "Now in the changing rooms" she pushed me in and closed the door. I tried on maybe 5 dresses before she approved of one floral dress. She even found some white flats to match it. I walked out the changing rooms with the dress on and she has her hand over her mouth and her eyes widened. "What" I asked her.

Ayato's POV

I was playing basketball out in the yard when Laito came out of nowhere smiling at me. Hm. I looked at him and he kept smiling. "What weirdo" I asked him. "You know what today it" he asked me as I shrugged. "I think it's Thursday" I said as I dribbled the ball. "It's also Valentines Day" he said to me. Oh. "That's cool I guess" I said to him as I shot the ball at a 3 pointer. "Soooo where is Y/N" he asked me wiggling my eyebrows. Hm. "Why" I asked him. "Because your supposed to be spending today with her where is the presents and gifts and love" he asked me. I arched my eyebrow. "What do you know about love" I asked him. "Clearly more then you brother she's gonna feel some type of way" he said to me. I shook my head. She wouldn't would she. "Nah she's not like that" I said to him. "Okay but when she sees other girls receiving love from their boyfriends shes gonna feel some type of way" he said before he started to walk away. I stopped in mid hoop. Will she. I mean she doesn't act like the lovey dovey type. Hmm. I dropped the basketball and went into the house. I went to go take a quick shower and wash my body and hair. What does she even like besides basketball.

Y/N's POV

I was looking at Ashley. "You look so pretttyyy" she said to me as I looked at her boredly and turned around to look in the mirror. My eyes widened. Wow. The dress was a floral yellow and white sundress that stopped above my knees. It went perfect with the flats. "Only thing next is your hair" she said to me. "Hey hey what's wrong with my hair" I asked her. "Dead ins and ponytails are so not good for this occasion" she said to me as I sighed. She payed for the dress and the shoes. She also told me to wear it out. "Hey I'll pay you back for this" I told her. I hate being in debt to anyone. "Don't worry about it" she said smiling as she grabbed my hand taking me in a hair salon. It looked very beautiful. "Honestly you don't have to" I was cut off by her finger. "It's good" she said to me. I just nodded I was gonna find a way to pay her back anyways. The lady smiled at me and told me to take a seat. "First time" she asked as I just nodded. She smiled more.

Ayato's POV

I got dressed in regular clothes. Just the casual jeans, a red shirt, and black sneakers with a black hoodie. I walked downstairs and saw Shu laying on the couch. Hm. "Hey uh what do girls like" I asked him. He looked at me with one eye and closed it again. He didn't speak. I grew impatient and just walked away. "Flowers ...they like flowers" he said before I left completely. I smiled and walked by Laito again. "Uh hey" aI said scratching the back of my head. He smiled and looked at me. I rolled my eyes. "What do I pay to this unexpected attendance" he asked me. I put my hands in my pockets. "What ..what do people do on Valentine's Day" I said as my cheeks got red. He squealed and jumped up. "Come this way" he said as I just followed him. "I prepared a basket for you thinking this would happen" he said to me as I looked at him weirdly. I looked at the table and saw an oversized basketball. "Where is the basket" I asked him. "It's right there" he said walking to the ball. "Hmm" I said as he gave me the ball. "Open it" he told me as I looked at it and opened it. "How do u even know she likes this stuff" I said to him. "I know everything about every girl" he said to me. "Perv" I said as I saw a teddy bear, a box of chocolate, a little necklace with her name on it, Champagne, a basketball key chain, another chain with our names conjoined and a lot of gummy candy. I guess this will do. "Thanks I guess" I said scratching the back of my head. "Oh don't worry about it" he said to me. This is awkward. I just left taking the ball with me.

Y/N's POV

The girl finished my hair and turned the chair around so I could look in the mirror. My hair was straight and down and evenly cut. It looked a bit shorter. Wow did I look different tho. Ashley took pictures as I glared at her. She knows I don't like pictures. "Just this once you look really nice" she said to me as I sighed and smiled for her. "Okay let's go to the Sakamaki Mansion" she said excitedly. Maybe this is all to much. I got up from the chair and dusted the dress off. The mansion wasn't very far from here. I took a deep breath and we walked there. Once we got there I got very nervous. "You can do okay you look great" she said to me as I smiled a little and held my arm. She knocked on the door and minutes later Reiji answered. "Welcome Y/N and Ashley" he said opening the door more. "Hi" I said nervously as I walked in. Ashley just left me to go find Subaru I guess. She's always messing with him they are like best friends. "Where is Ayato" I asked looking up at Reiji. "Uhm I'm not exactly sure you are free to check the Basketball area" he said as he walked to his laboratory. I nervously went out back as I seen Ayato and Laito in the basketball court. "Y-Y/N" Ayato said looking at me his eyes widened. Oh my. I put a strand of hair behind my ears and looked at him swaying a little. Laito smiled. "You look beautiful today" he said as he walked past me.I gave him a thanks before walking closer to Ayato.

Ayato's POV

Wow. I would've never thought she'd actually wear a dress. Laito and me was out here talking about things I should say when she gets here. I looked at her. I could feel the pink creeping up my face. "Uh I ...hey" I said. Fucking stupid. "Hey" she said looking at me. I was holding the basketball in my hands. "This is for you" I said to her giving it to her. She held it being confused. "Open it" I said to her as she opened it and a smile krept it's way to her face. "Oh my god you didn't have to do this" she said to me. Don't worry I didn't. She was smiling so much tho that I almost felt bad for not doing it. She smiled at me and gave me a hug. I hugged her back. "You look very beautiful" I said to her as she smiled. "Really I was kinda unsure about this" She said to me as I shook my head. "It fits" I said. "I wanna uh take you somewhere" I said to her as she seemed Confused. "Okay" she said as I grabbed her hand. She took the basketball with her. I teleported with her to the park. "This is where it all started right" I said to her as she looked at the park and smiled. We walked towards the court. It was dark out so no one was here. We sat on the benches. "When I first saw you I thought about beating you....but I first thought how beautiful your eyes was" I told her as she smiled and held the basketball. "I know we don't usually do things like this but I wanna change that" she said to me. I smiled and pushed my nose against hers. She giggled. I looked down. "What's wrong" She asked me. "...I didn't really get you those things ...Laito did" I said to her truthfully. "Oh" was all she said. "But I do have something I think I should give you" I said to her as she looked at me. I went in my pocked and pulled out my ring. "Noooo that's means so much to you" she said to me as I smiled. "I won this ring in my first basketball game" I said as I looked at it reminiscing. "But now it's time that's I turn it over" I said to her as I grabbed her finger and put it on her. "Perfect fit" I said to her as she smiled and hugged me again. She kissed me and I kissed back closing my eyes. "I love you Ayato" she said to me. "Happy Valentine's Day Y/N" I said as I kissed her forehead and we talked and laughed eating the gummy candies and talking about our basketball tournaments.
