Whyte Wyrm

  What Alice didn't know was that Jughead's birthday party was supposed to be at the wyrm.

"Are you serious Elizabeth? There's no way in hell I'm stepping foot on that snake nest"

"Mom! Come on! Yesterday you promised Jug you'd be there" Betty replys trying to convice her mother. "Plus it's FP's retirement party as well"

Alice POV

"FP is retiring? He's leaving the throne just like that? But...... how? Why.........? Is it beacuse of his wife? He's leaving the serpents for his family? He really... loves her doesn't he?" she sadly sighed "I guess love does change a person"

No POV

"Mom? Are you even listening to me? Betty said snapping Alice out of her thoughts.

"You don't understand, I can't go back there..." it was always a whisper but it was loud enough for her daughter to hear. "What you mean you can't go back there?"

Alice couldn't possible tell her that she used to be a serpent, not after years of disavoing the southside and all it's community "I'm sorry Betty... I can't" she said leaving the room.

At Pop's

It was 2pm and Betty and Jughead were having lunch.

"I don't know Juggy she was acting really strange... what's up with the White Wyrm? I know she doesn't like the serpents and all but it's just a bar, right?" the young couple were trying to understand Alice's behaviour towards the southside hangout place when FP approached them with two vanilla milkshakes "There you go" he smiled.

"Dad? I was wondering... would you please talk to Mrs Cooper about my birthday party? She backed out soon as we told her where it's going to be..."

"I'm sorry boy, you know Alice, we just don't get along " FP replied turning aroung trying to avoid any more questions.

"Wait, Mr Jones, one more thing... Do you have any ideia why she hates the White Wyrm?"

FP had a little trouble answering his son's girlfriend, he had to think carefully. "Well... you see, she used to go there, quite often actually, and then she started to date with your father... I think, and never showed up again, I can only guess they found a better place to hang out" he let out a smile but you could see the sadness in his eyes.

"Wait really? Betty paused for a moment. "Maybe now that she's divorcing my dad she'll reconsider going back there?" 

FP POV

"Hold on for a minute, why is my heart beating so goddamn fast? Is Alice really divorcing Hal? But why? I thought she loved him? He left her? Did he broke her heart? I'll kill him, painfully. No FP, calm yourself down, you have nothing to do with it, she already hates you there's no need to do something stupid"

No POV

FP inhaled, "I'm really sorry about your parents Betty" he lied "I have to go back to work"

Later that day

"You sure you're not coming mom?" she tried one more time. Alice poured wine in her glass and ignored her daughter. She had been drinking all afternoon.

"You know, today when I told Jug you weren't coming he was really sad, he tought you liked him more than you dislike the fact that he is a serpent, and so did I. Guess we were both wrong" Alice's heart ached at Betty's words.

"I do not hate the serpents" she drunkely said "I-I am one offff them, I am a serrrrpent, why would I hate me? N-nooo I don't hate me, I don't haaate them, I LOVE EM". Alice giggled.

Betty was perplexed. She thought about it for a moment. "She's drunk, she has no ideia what she's saying"

"But I hate him. I swear I hate him soooo much, I hate him b-because he makes me love him" she sobded "and then he left meee".

"Mom... are you ok? Are you talking about dad?" but before she could get her answer, Alice passed out on the couch.  

At the Wyrm 

"Alright people the pizza man is here!" Gladys shouted. Sweet Pea and Archie helped her carrying the food over to the big table. Jughead devoured many slices before heading to the dance floor with his girlfriend. Jellybean was running crazywith chocolates in her mouth while Veronica and Kevin were at the bar ordering cocktails.

Everyone was having a great time, the snacks kinda sucked but the music was awesome even tho all that could be heard were the laughs of at least 30 serpents. A few hours passed by and all of them gathered near the stage. It was FP's turn to have all eyes on him. He did a really good speech about how much he loved every single breathing soul under that very same roof and how the gang is just like a family to him.

"And lastly, Jughead son come up here" FP he said with proud. "Dad what are you doing?" he asked in confusion.

"Listen up now, as you all know I'm retiring from the serpents and my boy... my boy as never stopped fighting for this crew" FP looked him in the eyes "and that is why, I'm giving you the mantle" 

Whistles could be heard miles away, everyone was clapping and cheering the new king.

"I love you dad" Jug smiled and looked for his girlfriend "and as the new king I must say I need a queen" Betty was overwhelmed with joy. 

Things were going increadibly well until Hog Eye openned his mouth.

"According to the serpent's rules, there can only be one queen, and until the previous one retires or dies, she will forever remain queen" he says.

"So there is a queen?" FP's eyes widened up at his son's question, he opened his mouth to say something but before he could answer Betty cuted in "And who may that be?"

The only thing that could be heard was silence, silence and the faint sound of clicking heels. And it was getting louder and louder. It was dark when that someone entered the Wyrm, they weren't able to see her face and they could only assume that she was in fact a she, wearing a pair of black high heeled boots, a tight black skirt and a black bra underneath a transparent blouse.

"That would be me" Alice says stepping into the light.
