why don't we focus

daniel brought everyone at a beach party without telling them why. jonah and jack didn't care as long as they were having fun, zach already knew daniel's plan and corbyn was really wondering what he was doing here. " daniel, what the hell did you bring us here?! "

" because i wanna get zach and mary together, you fool! " yelled daniel through the loud music as if it was evidence.

corbyn's expression immediately changed: daniel's answer got him curious. " oh, for real?! tell me your plan!! "

" well first zach talks with mary and eventually dances with her and once they feel the mood and atmosphere, zach will talk with another girl and wait to see how mary would react to this. since she's a girl with temper, she'll end up getting angry and admit her feelings if she really likes him. i mean they first started getting closer at a party so i guess today things gotta happen again. "

" i look forward to seeing that, daniel. " smiled corbyn, sure that mary and zach will finally confess to each other.

" aha, me too. "

mary focus

mary just danced with zach but was disappointed because he didn't try to kiss her. maybe he just didn't like her and wanted to make out for fun? mary was like that, after all. but she felt like this time it was different. before she met him, nobody made her heart beat so fast, nobody kissed her the way he did, and nobody ever attracted her like zach did. she was addicted to him and the fact that zach probably didn't care about it hurt her. the first person she ever fell for just left her like that, making her feel stupid. mary looked around to see where zach was and saw him talking with another girl. she felt like something inside her just broke - her heart, her hope, her happiness... it's funny how in only a few seconds, someone could make us feel like we're just a game to them.

mary wanted to leave the crowd as soon as possible. she let her glass on the table and ran in the dark night, approaching the ocean. she stopped and sat in the sand as the fresh and humid air hit her face, calming her. mary got teary eyes and didn't know if it was because of the cold wind or because of the feeling in her heart - maybe it was both. she shivered and couldn't hold back her tears any longer. she fell and felt her shoulders ripping against the sand but it didn't hurt, she was so devastated that she just didn't care. mary didn't realize how close the water was until a wave hit her body, whipping against her face  and startling her. she stood up quickly and sat a little bit further, where water couldn't reach her.

her entire body trembled and she needed new clothes - or at least a jacket - but she didn't want to come back at the party. id rather stay here all shivering than watch him flirt with someone else. an hour has spent since she left and she stopped crying, but it didn't change anything. if people say that we feel better when we cry, why do i still feel broken?

zach focus

the girl zach was talking with wasn't even interesting - she was less funny than mary, less beautiful and just didn't attract him. mary was stuck in his mind since a couple of weeks and he really wanted to date her but an hour has spent and she still wasn't coming. zach looked around but didn't see her. somethings definitely not right. the crowd wasn't that huge so if he didn't see her, it meant that she just left. zach felt his heart skipping a beat. he apologized to the girl saying he had something to do and started looking for mary absolutely everywhere. she wasn't at the bar nor in the bathroom - she just wasn't here at all. zach tried to call her but she wasn't picking up - how dumb i am, she let her phone home - and he got even more worried.
