14: Apologies

Hi. So I understand it a been awhile, but here is a new chapter. I had some inspiration. This is a longer chapter at 1133 words. But you guys deserve it.

Heath POV

I wake up to the sun in my eyes. I go to move but can't. That's when I see a hand across my waist and a face on my chest.

Zane. He looks so comfortable. I must have been awkward for the nurse that checks on me in the middle of the night.

I don't care, it is cute.

I wish I could kiss him awake, but I can't reach. So I just play with his hair.

20 minutes later he starts to stir.

His eyes flutter open and look around, then at me

"Morning," he says and starts to get up
"Morning," I say in response.
"How did you sleep?" I asked, curious if it was okay for him.
"Great actually," he says with a cute smile
"That's good. Me too" I say and he looks at me, well my lips rather.

"Zane," I say
"Hmm" he hums in response
"I love you too," I say to him
"Oh, you remember that." He says and I shake my head yes
"I love you too," he says and leans in

We kiss and kiss. I don't want it to end. It's so nice to be able to kiss him.

He pulls away with a sad look in his eyes

"What's wrong?" I ask him and grab his hand
"I don't want to tell people." He says looking down
"Oh, well we don't have too. No, yet anyways" I say in response.
"Good, I'm just not ready." He says looking up at me
"But we might want to tell Gabbie," I say and he looks sad again.
"Yeah, I know. I was such a dick to her. I thought you where gonna die, and I could not live with myself if you did and then the camera.." He rambling on
"Hey, you don't have to explain to me. I understand. But I'm not dead, I'm right here." I say trying to calm him down
"I know. I'm glad you are." He says and kisses me

We would kiss forever if we could. Its been a long few days but this is the best part.

**buzz**

We pull way and Zane grabs his phone.

"Its Scott, they want to know if I want to come to see you," he says with a laughs
"Haha, that funny. Tell him you got here a little while ago. And tell him to bring Gabbie." I say, knowing we need to tell her
"Okay... and send. There. Are you ready?" He asked
"No, you come here, I wasn't done," I say and bring his face closer to me.

I grabbed his hair and pull a little.
We are bit he wrestling for dominance but eventually I win.

He pulls away and I groan in frustration

"No that I want to, but we should stop. We don't want everyone to walk in and see us like this." He says almost out of breath
" yeah I guess" I say realizing he is right.
"Hey it's okay when they leave we will start again," he says and gives me a peck on the lips

Zane POV

About 20 minutes go by before everybody comes in

"Hey, how are you doing?" Scotts says looking at Heath.
"Still in pain, but other than that I'm great." He says and I smile a little.
 
I look up and see Gabbie in the corner with her head down

"Hey can you guys give us a second, we want to talk to Gab alone," I say.

It's now or never

"Oh okay well were go and get some food downstairs," David says
"Okay. Thanks" I say

Everyone leaves so it just us and Gabbie

"Look Gabbie I'm really really sorry for everything I didn't mean to yell at you. I was just really scared. I'm so so sorry" I say to her.

I feel so bad

"I know it's okay I understand. I'd be scared if my best friend was..." He starts but I cut her off
"That's not what I was scared of," I say and she gives me a confused look
"Well, I didn't want you to see what was on the video because I didn't want you to find out what happened," I say keeping my voice soft
"What happened that was so bad that you didn't want me to see," she says with anger
"It was not bad per say ... Well is kinda was in a sense... Anyway, it was me and Heath, doing stuff." I say unsure if I should say it
" Zane I swear to god if you two were doing drugs.." She almost screams out
"What no, no we weren't," I say

I can't believe she would think that

"Than what is it?" She says getting inpatient

What do I say, how do I say it
Just say it dude
Why is it so hard

"He gave me a blow job alright" Heaths blurts out.
"What, why is that on video." Gabbie say

I'm still in shock that Heath said it the way he did.

"The camera was on and it caught us. We were drunk and didn't remember" heath says

"Oh well, thanks I guess. For not letting me see it." She says is a slight smile.
"Gabbie, can you please not tell anybody? We weren't gonna say anything but I was an asshole to you. I wanted to give you an explanation. "
I say
"Zane, of course, I won't. Thank you for trusting me, both of you," she says and hugs me.
"Now. I'm gonna go meet up with everyone else. I'll be back soon. Love you." She says and heads out the door
"You too," I say and head over the bed.
"So that happened. What now?" I say, looking at heath
"I don't know, but we will figure it out. Come here" he says and pats a spot on the bed for me

I sit and we just look at each other

"So once you can come home I wanna take you on a date. Is that okay?" I ask
"Sure, that would be okay. Where?" JD asked me
"I was thinking that fancy new restaurant the opened a few months ago," I say and play with my finger
"Sure, but isn't that place kinda expensive?" He says
"Yeah, but I wanna go," I say and look up at him
"Okay, sure. Now let's ask the doctor when I can leave" he say and press the nurses button
