"Where is he? What happened?" Madison ask as her heart beat rapidly faster than usual.
"He was shot, Madison. 2 times" Jeremy explained with saddened all over his face.
Tears rushed down her face as her adrenaline begin to pump.
"Is he's going to be okay? I need to see him, I have to see him" Madison say as Jeremy pulled her into a hug.
He comforted her in need "Hey, it's going to be okay"
"Who would do something like this?" Maddie mumbled.
"Here goes the doctor" Luke stood to his feet.
The doctor walk up with a sad expression cover his face.
Madison stood next to Lucas as the waited for some good answer.
"The bullets where so close to his heart that he's heart drop and right now we're just waiting for a heart beat"
"And what happens if his heart don't beat? What's going to happen to him"
"He dies" the doctor answer.
"No No No, this can't be happening" Maddie shook her head as tears exploded out of her eyes.
"Hey, Nathan going to be just fine" Jeremy place his hand on her shoulder.
"I can't live without him.. I need him, the twins need him"
Lucas and Jeremy pulled her into a hug consoling her.

"Hey, Maddie" Jeremy say tapping her to wake up.
Her eyes flushed open as she look around the room to see she was in the hospital "I thought this all was a dream" she ran her hands through her hair.
"Your able to go see him now" The doctor inform her.
"Where did Lucas go?" She asked looking at her brother.
"He's went home to go change, he should be back along with everyone else"
"Who's watching the twins?" Jeremy asked.
"Mom" she say speaking of Marlin.
She stood up and walk down the hall to Nathan room.
She stopped by the door taking a long deep breath.
She entered the room and her heart immediately drop to floor.
Seeing him hook up to all them wires literally killed her inside.
She walked over towards him placing her head on his.
"Nathan.... P-please wake up" she cried feeling her heart break..
"I love you so much, but I can't see you like this" she kiss his forehead, before walking out.
She quickly wipe her tears but they just kept forcing down her face.

"Mommy!" Ava and Noah scream running towards her as she walk in the door..
"Hey" she spoke dryly bending down to their level.
"Mom, why are you crying?" Noah ask with a hint of sadness in his voice.
"Did you and dad get into another argument?" Ava asked pouting.
"No, sweetheart"
"Where is Daddy? Did he leave for his basketball tournament already?" Noah questioned.
"Um, no-"
"So where is he? Because he always come down here and mess up breakfast and you come and fix it all up" Ava explained.
"You remember the story how I told how evil people do horrible things to good people?" She paused awaiting for their answer.
They nodded looking at they're mother.
"Well, um how do I say this" Maddie mumbled trying not to break down but she was failing.
Tears pierced out of her eyes "Your father i-is i-in the hospital"
"Is he's going to be okay?" Ava asked.
"I don't know, but you know what you're father is a good man who deserves to be on this Earth. I promise you two..." She took a hold of their hands.
"That your father is going to be right here with us" she put a fake smile on her face.
"Can we go see him?" Noah ask as his voice cracked.
"Later sweetie, I promise" she kissed both of their cheeks.
"I'm go upstairs and get some rest, how bout you kids think about what you want to tell your father"
They both gave her a fainted smile.
Madison entered her bedroom going straight to her journal.
She look at the loads of journals she had. They all were feel with so much Joy, Happiness, sadness, fears, and love.
She sat on her bed opening up a new page.
"A place without the love of my life and the father of my kids is definitely a place where I don't want to live... Nathan Royale Scott I don't think I'll ever be able to live without you, because a part of me is you so if you we're to leave I wouldn't ever be the same.. so please don't leave me."
Tears fulfill her eyes, she closed her journal.
She smiled looking at the pictures of her and Nathan that we're all over their bedroom.
Her heart warmed as she look at how happy they were.
Sometimes she wish she could just rewind back to the old days.
"Mads" Brooke voice cackle as she seen her best friend.
"Brooke" Maddie walk over towards her as Brooke pulled her into a hug.
"I'm here, mads... I'm right here" She mumbled to her.
"Hey, you wanna talk?" Brooke asked wiping Maddie's tears.
Maddie answer with a simple head nod.
That both sat down on her bed.
"Okay how about we take a walk down memory lane" Brooke grabbed madison hand.
"When was the first time you feel in love with Nathan?"
"After my first day of tree Hill. You invited me to their basketball game and to the after party... I was having the greatest conversation with Nathan and I knew it was wrong because he was with Peyton. Everything just felt so consuming, passionate, convincing. You know the movie when they say it just felt like love at first sight... That's how it was with Nathan.." Maddie smile grabbing the first picture of her and Nathan.
"I'm only keeping it because I look cute"
"And in that moment....I loved him" Maddie place her hand on her necklace.
