MAIN CHARACTERS: DAEJOON, JAESEOK, JINKYUNG

"i don't know if i should tell her or not!!" feeling exasperated, jaeseok slammed his desk and laid his head on his big pile of books. he kept thinking of ahreum over and over again-his brain wouldn't stop inserting her into his thoughts, like it was going against his will. "what do i do about her, i can't get her off my mind..." just then, his phone rang. "hello?"

"bro, i can literally hear you screaming your vocal chords out from one street away, man." daejoon's voice broke the screaming. "what the hell is going on? is it with ahreum?"

"what do you think?!" jaeseok couldn't keep his cool yet. "she was like prank-texting me and all with those super corny pick-up lines..."

"oh, it looks like somebody has an admirer eh, han jaeseok?" daejoon's comment didn't make it better for jaeseok, who swore he almost smashed his phone in frustration. "i'm just saying, she might like you, you know."

"what?! you've got to be kidding me." jaeseok sat down at his desk and put his phone on speaker mode. "ahreum's famous for not wanting a relationship in the cohort-are you even sure?"

"sure she says that she wants to go solo for life, but we all know jeon ahreum's lying." daejoon's voice just rang as jaeseok sat down scribbling on his notebook-he just wanted to try to not fail the upcoming biology test they had on monday. "i mean, even you can tell she's lying, right?"

"i don't take this type of things as a joke-i mean, you all know of my feelings for ahreum. anyways, i'm trying to study for the monday test-call you later." jaeseok hung up and turned to his notebook as he frantically tried to memorise everything he could before monday, yet the question about what he and ahreum were lingered in his mind. "fu*k, jaeseok, don't think of this-you have a freaking test for a subject you're failing, and it's part of your major core."

just then, his phone rang. "who is it again..." jaeseok peered at his phone screen and saw jinkyung's name on the screen. after a few taps on the screen, jinkyung's voice rang in the room.

"jaeseok-ah, ahreum wants to find out if you're free this saturday." just that sentence alone sent jaeseok's mind into paradise mode-he couldn't believe his ears, or maybe his entire existence.

"i...uh..." jaeseok was trying to keep his calm, but in real life he was excited, thrilled and yet nervous-how would ahreum see him if he said no? "i'll check my schedules and get back to her. where does she want to go to?"

"the skateboard park-that is, if you'll even go with her. jaewon and hana already turned her down." jinkyung's voice was monotonous-maybe even dead.

"then tell her i'll be there. i'll even spend the entire day with her even if it means not eating." jaeseok then hung up the call and immediately ran to his closet-he had to figure out how to dress to impress.
