"lunch time!!" when the lunch bell rang you immediately closed up your textbook with a thud and ran out of the class, trying to get to the cafeteria queue on time, if not you'd have to wait for 20 minutes before you got your food. "it's clam soup day today, i can't be late!!"

"oh, (y/n)-ssi!!" you looked around to see who was calling you, then you saw ahreum raising her eyebrows at you. "you're also rushing down for clam soup day?"

"obviously. i love the cafeteria's clam soup to my deathbed, man." you raised your eyebrows and smiled at ahreum. just then, the entire cafeteria became a ruckus as a scream was heard from the far corner of the cafeteria. "let me guess-her again?" stepping forward, you collected your food and went to the table you shared. stealing a glance at the scene, you immediately put down your food and ran up to save the victim-hana. 

"(y/n)-ssi, stay out of this. please." hana put a hand on your shoulder which you swung away. raising your fists, you glared at the bully-kiwon from the business major. 

"i don't care what you did to hana just now, you'll answer to me and my fists." taking off your school blazer, you landed a hard punch on kiwon's face. 

"acting brave, huh? don't forget (y/n)-ssi, i can taekwondo." pushing you onto the wall, kiwon sucker-punched your stomach and grabbed your hair, pushing you to the ground. "and since when were you so protective of bae hana here? this girl deserves to die."

"say that one more time?" jaeseok then walked up to the three of you and helped you up before helping hana stand up. he then dragged the both of you away, but before the three of you distanced yourselves from the scene he turned back to kiwon. "6.30pm, school rooftop. meet me if you dare, i'm going to give you a good one for hurting them, trash."

"yah, what made you get into a fight like that?" ahreum dusted the dirt off hana's skirt and gave her a piece of fried chicken to eat. "lee kiwon isn't worth fighting with, he's so belittling of people."

"exactly, there are more important things than wasting your time beating other people's asses." jaeseok took a mouthful of clam soup into his mouth while looking displeased. "i'll give him a good one later."
