Prologue.

People say that I became messed up from the grief of my parents passing, and the guilt of not being in that car with them when they just happened to leave the house late, when they just happened to be in a rush, when they just happened to be driving past that driveway, when they just happened to get hit by a reversing lorry.

When they just happened to have forgotten me behind.

A lot of things just happened that day.

But people are wrong. The guilt didn't come from that.

The guilt came from the fact that I hardly even grieved them.

Because I had lost them already.
