Chapter 12

Winoah POV

I am 1 month pregnant now.. Only me, Carla and Jane know about it. I keep it a secret for now, especially to my parents. I dont want them to worry about me. I continue working. I have a morning sickness but my OB said that its normal in the first trimester of pregnancy. Its hard sometimes, like today before i go to work i feel so exhausted because of my continues vomiting. Its really hard but i need to be strong for my baby. After all i did it,  its the consequenses of what i did and i never regret every bit of it. I will be a single mother and i will be contented to that,  i will love my baby and i will take care of him or her. It gives me a wide smile just thinking about the gender of baby...

"Whoaw,  why are you smiling like crazy Winoah my friend" Jane ask me curiously. I just look at her and smile..

"You know probably the father of her baby" Carla look at me teasingly..

"of course not" i made face.. Although i always think of David everytime.. Its weird but i kinda miss him.. But ofcourse i will never admit it to them..
We are currently eating our lunch. I decide that i need to continue my work for my baby.. Its hard being pregnant but i dont have a choice now. I need to continue my life especially now that i have my baby in my tummy..

"you know what Winoah i think you need to tell Cattherine that you are pregnant so she wont give you a lot of work,  especially now that you are Pregnant.. And my God she give you Corporate account that very stressful and needs a lot of energy.. "

"Carla is right.. You cant handle that corporate account.. You need to work overtime for that.. Thats a serious task Winoah.. I handled a corporate account before.. The company is very demanding.. I always run like theres a devil who is following me because they have a lot of request and have changes last minutes. " Jane seems like a very bad experience handling a Corporate account.

"But the CEO is hot!  Admit it"

"What is his name again Mr. Troy Cartwell!  The hot billionaire! Yummy" Carla tease her.

I remember her having a corporate account and i cant forget how she curse it.

"yeah!  A hot billionaire but a devil reincarnate! Aggghhh!  Now i have a bad mood remembering it. Worst experience ever. I got curious all of sudden.

"You never told us what happpened Jane. We just remember you being mad and cry about it but you never tell us what really happened" Jane become silent all of a sudden. Carla look at me because of Jane's reaction..

"hey!  Why we become serious all of sudden!  Carla pinch Jane cheeks thats makes her snap.

"Ouch!  You brute that hurts! " i laugh because of their childish action..
Carla just ingnore Jane and hug her tightly..

"i know theres something on your mind Jane,  you are not ready now buy always remember that me and Winoah are just here for you..

I stand up and hug Jane too..

"Yes Jane..  We are here for you.. Just like you are always there for me". I cant help but emotional all of a sudden.. Jane hug as tighly. I know with all those smile and bubbly attitude of her. She is keeping something big that hurt her very much. All of us are carrying a burden. But like me she is not yet ready to share it with us. And i know the feeling very well.

"soon girls i will share it with you.. But until im still hurting i need to keep on myself. I promise when it didnt hurt anymore i will share it with you.. Thats what friends are for right..." Jane hug become tighter..

"Ohhh gurls.. Hu huh huh... I dont want to cry but your making me cry.. You two are going through something and i can feel it. " Carla statement made me cry too..

"we look insane here.. Hugging and crying" i can feel that everyone is looking at our direction but i dont mind them. I am overwhelm because of this friendship.. carla and Jane are crazy most of the time.. They love the night life but i can surely say that they are a true friend. A friend that will always there for you when you are in need..

After our dramatic lunch i went to D.A Corporation. This the corporate account that Catherine gave me. They are going to get 1000 units of car that they will give to their employee as a service. I am the company representative,  i will assist them and see to it that they will get there demand and give them a satisfaction.

Looking outside the Building i cant help to get nervous. I feel like theres a butterfly in my tummy.

'is that you baby that makes mommy nervous'i touch my tummy lovingly.. I love my baby even he or she's still in my tummy..

Looking at the big building i cant help it to be mesmerize.. Its a big building if im nit mistaken its up to 70th floor and the color is Gold.. Its one of the tallest building here in New york.

Wearing my brown trench coat and a fitted red dress inside with matching my red 4 inches stello i started walking confidently inside the building. I need to be confident even inside i feel so nervous. I cant explsim what i feel.. Im used to talk to clients and its not my first time to handle a corporate account. I inhaled deeply..

The receptionist greet me with a smile and i smile back to her.

"i have an appointment with Mr. Monroe" i told her

"yes Ma'am Mr. Monroe is waiting for you.. She guide me to an elevator.. Theres 8 elevator in the building and she guide me to the farthest elevator on the right side. She Press the top button.. I look at her curious on what shes doing.. She just smile at me like she understand the question in my face.

"Mr. Monroe is at the CEO' office in the top floor Ma'am and he is waiting for you. " the elevator close and only less than a minute i am at the top floor. The ekevator door opened and a 40 plus something Man wearing a black suite greeted me with a smile.

I went out from the elevator..

"Good afternoon Ms. Winson.. I am Mr. Monroe.. Nice to meet you.. "

"Good afternoon Mr. Monroe" i received his right hand for a handshake..

"Follow me Ms. Wilson"

I follow Mr. Monroe.. Its looks like the whole floor is only fot the CEO..  The carpeted floor is very elegant like i am walking in a grand hotel. I saw another man outside the CEO office and he greeted me and i greeted him back..

Mr. Monroe knock at the door infront of us and he went inside i follow him.. My eyes roam around the office.. I cant help it but to gawk at what i see theres a huge sofa on the right side of the office.. Theres a small chandelier on top that fit perfectly for the office.. The whole office are shouting elegance.. Infront of me is a wide glass window that can see the whole city of New York.

"Mr. Ashton,  Ms. Wilson is already here. " hearing his name makes me look to the man infront of me.

There he is the man that wont leave my mind for the whole man. Looking at me darkly.. He's eyes are telling me dangerous things that make shiver.

"Leave us Mr. Monroe" hes dark and dangerous voice boom inside the office. Like he is the king of this empire.

Realisation hit me and it made my eyes  wide open in shock .
