Jeon Yeona's foot was lightly and comfortably held down on the gas pedal, driving just below the speed limit at least 30 metres away from a car identical to hers but in black rather than navy blue. It was stolen 2 weeks previously and easily recognizable. Already knowing his destination, Yeona parked 50 metres away from the said car and watched as a dark silhouette of a figure disappeared into a small house.
Yeona quickly checked that she had everything on her: the gun attached to her belt hidden in her pocket and by her long hair, which was dyed black and dead straight. Her original colour was a really light brown, but it stood out too much in the night so she dyed it. Though Yeona hated her long hair, she grew it out because it was convenient for when hiding weapons. Inconvenient when running. She hid her phone in her left boot and rolled her ankle to feel the cold metal blade of the emergency dagger tucked in her right. They were combat boots, so they were easy to walk in and ankle high, which was convenient for keeping her dagger within reach but out of sight in case she ran out of both the ammo refills in her back pockets or her gun wasn't accessible.
She got out of her car and followed him as soon as the front door of the small house he had walked into closed behind him. As she neared the small house, she gripped the gun with her right hand and yanked it out of the tight pocket of her black jeans, carefully avoiding the trigger even though the trigger lock was on. She opened the door silently and carefully stepped, staying near the furniture so the floor wouldn't creak. Though she had seen and memorised the blueprints of this house, it was still slightly difficult to tell where she was. Not impossible, though.
Yeona could hear voices talking, both sounded completely unaware she was there, as they showed no signs of worry or need to be quiet. They were quiet enough to not be heard from outside, but not quite quiet enough to be aware that they were being spied on. From her knowledge, there were two men present in the house, both in the same room. One was known to be a drug dealer/hitman, the other a high school dropout, drug dealer and hitman. The latter mentioned was the one that came out of the car, while the former had been waiting in the building. The latter had organised the meeting because he had been cheated out of his money, the former only agreed because he wanted to kill him. The former's name is unknown while the latter's is Jung Joon-ho.
As she crept through the house, she heard the voices getting louder and clearer.
"If you want ... ... ..., just do it."
Yeona assumed this was the Unknown man's voice as he sounded confident.
"Min ..., don't ... ... you're not scared!" The second voice had to belong to the unprofessional overconfident douchebag that Yeona was sent here to take care of, Jung Joon-ho.
"I'm not acting."
One of the men started breathing like a horse, Yeona assumed it was Mr. Jung out of frustration that the other man wouldn't cower in fear.
"Not scared, ...-gi? We'll see ... that."
Jung Joon-ho's threats were whispered, but she was close enough to make out most of their conversations now and intelligent enough to guess the parts she didn't pick up. Yeona's footsteps hastened when she heard the click of the trigger lock on a gun being removed. To add to that, she heard The Unknown Man say: "Go on, shoot me." he sounded slightly scared but the hint of amusement told Yeona that he was acting.
With her right hand, Yeona grabbed her gun, and with her left she brushed her hair behind her ear to make her look more innocent.
"Gladly." The armed man's smirk was visible through his voice. Yeona could also see his smirk from the doorway that she was standing in, which conveniently put her a few metres to Joon-ho's left.
"S-stop!" she hated that she had to stutter just to seem harmless. Jung Joon-ho raised an eyebrow and turned his head to face her. A victorious smirk broke across his face. "W-what's so funny?!"
"What are you gonna do, little girl?"
Yeona tried really hard, and barely succeeded, to hide the smirk that was threatening to show on her lips. Yeona released the trigger lock and her gun clicked loudly. This made Joon-ho actually laugh out loud, only adding to Yeona's amusement too. He pointed the gun at her and grinned. Yeona made her eyes widen and shake like a child, feigning fear.
"You wouldn't shoot me, sweetie."
Her eyes automatically narrowed. "Call me that one more time and we'll see if I'll shoot or not," Yeona threatened, dropping her left hand from its previous place on the gun to show her confidence.
He laughed again. "Don't act so tough, it doesn't suit your face."
Yeona glared at him and spared one warning glance at the Unknown Man in the room before she turned to the dumb idiot that stood before her and pulled the trigger, shooting directly into his chest.
She quickly pressed herself up against the door frame making as much space as she could for the mysterious man to dash past, which he did.
The useless hitman held his gun up with one trembling hand as his other supported the wound in his chest, blood seeping through his fingers. He glared at Yeona as she smirked in victory. "Oopsies," she innocently remarked before re-aiming and shooting the hand that held his gun. "Finger slipper."
