I wish my body would follow my mind when it wonders off.
Nowadays my soul feels black, like a tv when it's turned off.
I wish I could say I was happy, but like a lit candle, my heart just feels burnt off.
Every time I flip a switch, life turns around and flips it off.
I'm like the parent of a kid playing video games, it's time to shut it off.
No matter how mad you get, sometimes you just gotta walk it off.
Nothing is perfect, it'll take time but eventually you'll takeoff.
Do not give up, and no matter what, never turn your creativity off.
That's exactly what they want, for you to be shut off.
The creative mind is a dangerous one, but one that can also be turned off.
Like a house party, I won't stop until the power is shut off.
