Third Person POV

Fear.

That's exactly the emotion that flashed in Taehyung's eyes when he saw Jeongguk. It wasn't like he would be scared of Jeongguk. He was scared because he felt like he's seeing things. That Jeongguk actually isn't infront of him right now and he's gone absolutely crazy and imagining things.

Taehyung was damn sure either he was hallucinating or it was a ghost in Jeongguk's form standing infront of him. He just can't believe that Jeongguk will ever come back to him. Though he always wanted him to.

Taehyung takes a step back---eyes still wide and staring at Jeongguk. The step makes Taehyung to knock over the sculpture he was making and the wet clay falls on the floor---deforming. But Taehyung doesn't care---he wants to go away from here and lock himself in the room and hide under his bed. But Jeongguk is blocking him from running away.

And Jeongguk---he feels bad---guilty---angry at himself for being the cause of Taehyung's raging fear. He never wanted to see Taehyung scared of him ever again and it feels like they're back to that day when Jeongguk had him tied in the cellar and the same fear flashed in Taehyung's eyes---just like right now. Taehyung closes his eyes.

"Taehyung---baby--". Jeongguk desperately says and Taehyung---he places his hands on his ears because that word---that word which always leaves him weak and blushing---makes him feel insane right now.

"No---no---no." Taehyung chants.

He's not here. Calm down Taehyung.

What's wrong with you? Didn't you want to see him?

I do---but why does it feels like it's a dream---that my Jeongguk is here and if I'll open my eyes---he'll disappear.

Look at him---he really is here.

Taehyung opens his eyes to really find Jeongguk standing there, on verge of crying. Jeongguk has his coat on his arm and the sight always made Taehyung feel hot---right now, no.

Taehyung doesn't know what to do. He wants to run away and hide but at the same time, he wants to walk up to Jeongguk and touch him, feel him to see that he actually is here.

"No!" Taehyung yells when Jeongguk takes a step forward. The mafia boss immediately halts. If Taehyung doesn't want him close---he won't go near him but he desperately wants Taehyung to talk to him---to say anything. To be angry at him and to hit him for leaving him---he doesn't want Taehyung to keep standing there and say nothing at all.

"You're---you're not---you're not real." Taehyung stutters and it breaks Jeongguk even more to see his lover break.

It's all my fault. Jeongguk definitely agrees from the start.

It took alot of damn courage for Jeongguk to finally decide to actually visit his lover. In these seven months, there wasn't even a single day when Jeongguk hasn't cursed himself or some days---hurt himself for letting Taehyung go and putting both of them in misery.

Jeongguk was ready for anything and he still is. Right now---if Taehyung wants to even kill him, he'll gladly be down for it but he knows Taehyung will never do it. Taehyung would definitely beat the shit out of him if he'll talk about dying.

And it hurts to see that Taehyung thinks he's not even real. That Jeongguk isn't just standing infront of him. It's like Taehyung gave up on him---gave up on their love. It's like Taehyung was sure that Jeongguk won't ever want to see him and won't ever come back---how wrong he is.
