"Your last and first name are Chinese origin." I remembered.

Lee Shang. Li Shang. Sounds familiar. I realized as the thought struck me like a lightning bolt. Lee coughed pointedly, making me turn my head towards him. He winced at the look at my face, looking even more miserable than ever.

"I'm sorry I couldn't tell you sooner." He whispered, pulling the car into what looked like an old parking lot.

"Tell me what, Captain?" I spat, unbuckling my seat belt and opening the door. Or tried to.

"Yes, Captain. Tell her what?" A unfamiliar voice asked, making Lee's body go rigid in his seat.

"Whatever you do...don't look up." Lee whispered to me.

"Why should I trust you?" I hissed back, my eyes drifting to the outside of the car.

A man stood there, smirking like a devil gaining God's throne. "Well, well, well. I haven't seen you in a while, Hermione."

I gripped the armrests in shock, the name uncurling in my mind like a cat. Li Shang. Not my best friend but THE Li Shang. From Mulan. He looked exactly like he did in the movies. Tall, buff, and wearing the same damned armor that made me fall for him in the first place.

Li Shang nodded as if in confirmation to my thoughts. I wouldn't have been surprised if he could read my mind.

"It's time, descendant." He told Lee. "You can't stay here."

"No." Lee breathed, his voice ragged. "I won't join you. Not yet."

"Lee...what's going on?" I got out.

Li Shang cocked his head at me, raising his thick black eyebrows. "Every five years, the oldest male of the Shang dynasty has to travel back in time. To realize what mistakes they've made and recorrect them. Fortunately for this one, he has me on his side. If you, Hermione, somehow figures out to time-travel, you might possibly be able to rescue him."

"Li, that's enough." Lee shouted, stepping towards the captain.

"Oh, I think our dear Hermione Nike should know what's going on. For your in this is that you get to be Mulan and experience what it's like to be a woman in the ancient times. Also, good luck with Mushu." Li winked, grabbing Lee by his cloak and disappearing.

Taking Lee along with him.
