Joji's POV

It's been about two days since we moved into this house. I'm so excited to share my life with Y/N here, and possibly settle down and have children with her. I feel like this is the right path I'm going by buying this house.

We've planned to finish unpacking everything by the end of today so we're definitely working our asses off. I find a box that belongs to Y/N, and it's the one with the suprise inside it. I know this because it says, 'Don't look look through this, perv.' And I know she's specifically talking about me. I'm guessing she's got her lingerie and underwear inside of it. (I'm really not a perv, I swear :(  )

Obviously, I haven't told her about the surprise but she'll know when she goes through the box.

She stands back up and exhales heavily. "I think I'm done with my stuff. I'm gonna move on to the kitchen." 

I kick the box towards her. "You missed one."

"Oh, are you serious?!" She rolls her eyes.

"It's not my fault you've packed the entire world's resources with you." I shrug.

She bends down and rips apart the tape, beginning to unpack.

"I did tell you I was gonna donate some of my stuff to charity- hey..." She pauses. "What's this?"

She raises her hand, showing me a small beige box.

"Why don't you open it and find out?" I say.

She looks at me hesitantly, and then opens the box. 

"Oh...Oh my god, Joji...." Her eyes widen.

"I figured..." I take the box and sit cross-legged opposite her. "If we're gonna move here and settle down, the best time to propose would be now so..."

I look into her promising eyes.

"Wanna go through this bitch of a life together?"

"Fuck yes!!" She squeals, flopping onto me, making us both fall over. She hugs me so tightly that the air slowly leaves my lungs but honestly, I really don't care. I'm gonna spend the rest of my life with the girl I love.

"I love you so, so so much Joji...I'm so excited for what the future holds." She says kissing my face all over.

"You know I am too, baby." 

She sits back up and I do the same. 

"Allow me to put this on." I smile.

I take the ring out of the box and push it onto her finger.

"Perfect fit..." She grins.

"Yeah, I was worrying about it fitting you properly so I made sure it was the prefect size." I scratch behind my head.

"So that's why you were asking me those weird questions..." She giggles.

"Yeah, I guess. And I know this isn't the most romantic way to propose since we're both sweating like shit from all this, but I hope the ring makes up for it." I say.

"I don't even care, romantic or not, this is the best day of my life. By the way, I'm glad you acknowledged that amethyst is my favourite gemstone. Ugh, it's so perfect." She sighs.

"Just like you."
