Back to back they fought, slaying aliens, like it was the New York incident all over again. The extraterrestrial creatures kept coming and coming, there was no end. For every one they had beaten, two would take its place. "Capsicle, duck!" Tony shouted and as the blonde quickly fell onto the ground, Tony spun around, repulser rays coming from his hands. Aliens screamed in agony and pain, as they were burned by the beams. "Good job, Stark." The captain complemented, nodding towards the fallen aliens, before taking his battle stance again and flinging his shield at an incoming enemy. Beneath his mask, Stark had a smug grin on his face, his ego boasted a bit. Again aliens approached them, quickly surrounding them.

They fought and they kept the aliens off, staying alive and almost uninjured. Until a certain moment, where one of the last aliens approached the captain and clawed at his arms, making a heavy-bleeding wound. Steve screamed in pain and surprise, looking at his arm and the alien. "Are you okay?" The billionaire asked, his tone a little concerned. "Yeah, I'm fine." Steve replied, shrugging the alien off, while the Tony killed the other aliens. He removed his mask to look better, once he had killed them all. "You sure?" He asked, as he saw that the Captain was gripping on his forearm tightly. "Yeah." He replied, his teeth gritting in pain. "Don't give me that crap, let me look." The genius said sternly and tore Steve's hands of his arm. What he saw made him almost gag. A huge hole, blood seeping out of it, surrounded by black skin and lots of pus, was created by one of the many aliens. "That's not good." He whispered and moved closer. "I'm fine." The Avenger replied, wiping some blood from his forehead. "No, no, you're not." Tony replied, grabbing Steve's shoulders and shaking him hard. "Look at it! Is that a bone? Oh my god, we're going now!" Tony shouted, freaked out, as he noticed the little detail about the hole. "I can fight, I'm fine." Steve said again, more trying to convince himself than Tony. "Look at me." Tony demanded and cupped Steve's cheeks. The soldier looked at him, bewilderment in his eyes. "You're going to be okay. I'll get you out of here, okay?" Steve slowly nodded, panic seeping more and more into him, as the wound began to hurt more. "You'll be fine." Tony reassured him, trying to reassure himself too. Now might be the last minutes of Steve's life. He mustn't waste them. With that in mind he leaned forward, crashing his lips onto the blonde's, on the same time shooting an alien behind Steve, he had noticed on the last second. The soldier quickly wrapped his one of his arms around the brunette's neck, the one still holding his precious shield, while the other was firmly clasped around the other's forearm, giving fully in to the kiss, as his longings seeped through his usually calm demeanour. After they had parted, both their breaths were ragged and their eyes sparkled brightly. "Okay, wow... Now let's go!" Tony grabbed Steve's waist, pulling him even closer, clasped his faceplate back on and flew off.

The captain awoke to the sound of beeping, a very annoying beeping, and bright light. He blinked a couple times, as his eyes slowly readjusted. When he became fully aware of his surroundings, he felt a warmth against his hand. He looked down, to see Tony's hand clasped around his. The blonde smiled softly to himself, remembering the moments before he blacked out. Even though the situation around it was devastating and full with pain, the kiss itself was all Steve had longed for. He had fallen for the playboy and it seemed the billionaire had fallen too. Slowly the brunette stirred awake, looking into bright blue eyes. A smile found itself etched onto his lips, as he finally saw that his love was awake. "Hey." He croaked, his voice horse and husky from the sleep. "Hey." The blonde replied, still looking the other into the eye. "How are you?" Asked Tony, mesmerised by those eyes, as always. "Sore." The soldier answered with a little laugh. There hung an awkward silence around them, as neither knew what to say after the incident, before Steve's blacking out. "So... Uh..." Tony said, breaking the silence. "So..." Steve parroted, wanting nothing else, but pull in the brunette for another kiss. "About... Uh... About the battle..." Tony finally said, after a minute of again an awkward silence. "Yeah, about the battle..." Steve parroted again, a blush steadily rising to his cheeks, as he thought about the kiss. "Yeah... Uh..." The philanthropist said, scratching his neck. "I should be going." He announced and quickly leapt to his feet. "No!" Steve cried out, before clearing his throat. "I mean, no, you don't have to go." He said, while clutching tightly onto Tony's hand. The genius shrugged and sat down onto the plastic chair, still holding the other man's hand, not wanting to ever let go. "Just kiss him already!" Someone yelled, sounding suspiciously much like Clint. Steve's cheeks became even redder, if possible, and Tony began also colouring. His brown orbs found their way back to the blue ones and he leaned closer. The blonde had no intentions to push him off, so the brunette leaned even closer. Both their eyes fluttered shut, as their lips were inclosing the gap between. When finally their lips touched, Steve's heart monitor began beeping wildly. Quickly, the billionaire separated and looked panicked at the device. Slowly, the heart speed began to decrease and the beeping slowed down. Meanwhile, Steve was blushing furiously, from the kiss and the monitor. Tony's eyes glinted mischievously, as the quickly increased beeping had given him an idea. He slowly leaned in again, his lips touching Steve's. The mischievous man smirked at the oblivious captain, as the heart beeping increased again. The playboy grazed his teeth against the other man's, but was denied. He quickly slipped his hands underneath the hospital shirt and the captain gasped, giving the genius a moment to slip his tongue through the super soldier's lips. The heart rate sped even more, as Tony's tongue was roaming through Steve's mouth, his hands underneath his shirt. But he did not pull away, because he liked it, even though he had never done such thing, especially not with a man. Neither wanted to separate, but both were humans, so they had to. Panting, Tony rested his forehead against Steve's, looking him deeply into the eye. "Fun, right?" Tony smirked, winking at him. Steve's blush had discovered a whole new shade of red and was that colour now. "Y-Yeah..." He stuttered, trying to get control over his breathing and heart. Yet, therefore was now time, as Tony attacked his lips again, and again, and again.
