Pridelands

Kiara had been running around the Pridelands with her two friends Tabia and Imani probably since she learned how to walk properly. Simba was overprotective and would constantly send Timon and Pumbaa to watch over his daughter and her friends.

Today though, Kiara, Tabia and Imani managed to outsmart them and run away. They reached the border of their lands and saw the Elephamt graveyard from there. The three cubs were terrified and amazed at the same time. Imani grinned and spoke up "What are you two waiting for? Let's go explore!" She jumped up and flicked the tip of her tail in pure excitement, her sister wasn't sure about it though "We could get in so much trouble.." she said, frowning. Kiara was too deep into her thoughts to hear what the two sisters were talking about.

Imani bleped at her older sister and made her way across the border, Tabia yelped and rushed after her, the yelp snapped Kiara out of her thoughts. The soon-to-be queen realized where her friends went so she rushed after them, trying not to fall behind too much because the place across this border was too scary for a lion cub to be there alone.

Kiara finally caught up with the sisters and panted behind them, and before she could say anything Imani shut her mouth and whispered "hyenas are close, keep quiet." Kiara just nodded and they sneaked through the territory, trying not to run into a hyena.

Meanwhile, Timon, Pumbaa and Zazu were trying to find the three cubs. Include panic mode and everyone repeating "Simba must never know" and such sentences.

Zazu at first wanted to tell Simba, of course, as he deserved to know in case the worst happens. But they didn't.

Zazu happened to fly over the border, remembering what happened to Simba and Nala when they were cubs. It is a terrifying memory. He saw the three adventurous cubs and immediately called Timon and Pumba so they can get them to safety quickly.

Kiara noticed Zazu in the air and frowned "Girls..we're in trouble."

Meanwhile in the Elephant graveyard...

"Hurry up slow pokes we'll lose it!" Ada giggled to her younger brothers, Asani was following close behind her as they chased a mouse, trying desparately to make it their first successful prey and their youngest brother, Bakari was just walking next to Banzai, who kept an eye on his children.

Ada finally managed to step on the mouse's tail but Asani bumped full speed into her back and they both fell on top of each other. Banazi snorted at the sight and sat next to them "You were close this time" he commented as his pups gathered around him. "Are ya done? This is gettin tiring." The older male added, Ada pouted "We have to catch it though!" She said stubbornly, Asani nodded next to her "Yeah! And bring it back to mom so she feels better!"

Banzai chuckled and shook his head a little "She's just a little tired and lacks sleep, food won't fix that" he explained, getting up and making his way back to the rest of the clan, Bakari by his side. Ada and Asani protested "What will help her then?" Asani asked, catching up with his father and siblings. "You two not snoring all night long" Banzai joked, looking over his shoulder at them. Ada scoffed, "'Wonder where we got that from." She smirked at her father, Asani and Bakari laughed at the comeback.

Banzai was about to say something when Ed padded to him, he seemed pretty happy and ready to tell him some good news. "You seem pretty happy Eddy, what's up?" Banzai spoke to his friend, Ed nodded and laughed in response. "Aight, go show us then" Banzai said, and before he could even finish the sentence Ed was making his way towards where Shenzi was.

Ed sat down and nodded at the sleeping female, smiling widely at Banzai who felt relief as soon as he saw his mate calm and sleeping after a long period of nightmares and sleepless nights. Ada and her brothers also smiled and cuddled up to their mother so they could also nap.

"Well, I think we all need a nap now" Banzai yawned, Ed nodded in agreement. The two males huddled next to Shenzi and the pups, they looked like the happiest family in the clan that very moment. Banzai even tolerated Ed sleeping with his head and a paw on top of his shoulders.

In the Outlands

Zira was just giving Kovu a lesson when Nuka and Vitani ran over yelling for her, Maji following close behind. The lioness turned around and growled "This better be good." She said, glaring at her children. Vitani stopped to catch her breath before she speaks. "Jehlani got us a huge crocodile to eat, but she needs help to carry it." The young cub explained, and Maji added "And she said the two of us wouldn't be enough to help her" she said referring to Nuka and herself.

Zira's eyes widened in surprise when she heard about today's meal. The lioness nodded "Vitani, stay here with your brother. I'll go help them" she said and nodded at the other two to lead the way.

Kovu smiled "We're eating good today!" He said, excitedly. Vitani grinned back and nodded "If you saw Jehlani fight it you'd be even more excited!" His sister bounced up. Both were silent for a few seconds until Vitani suddenly pounced on Kovu and the two began play fighting.

Zira and Jehlani brought the dead crocodile back with the help of Nuka and Maji, the small, but strong, pride of lionesses had a feast that day.

A/N

So while I fix all the shit in Nobody escapes unharmed I came to an idea for a whole new fanfiction.
Of course, if you know my fanfictions well enough, nothing will be as happy and playful from chapter two.

Enjoy these happy little families while you can because you won't see much of those for a very loooong time :)
