Nandini is sitting on the floor leaning on the bed,her head resting upon her folded knee. Eyes swollen due to constant crying. All of a sudden the phone rang.
Nandini picks up the call.
"hello"
"is it Mrs Malhotra speaking???" we hear a female voice speaking from the other side.
"yes... " nandini replied
"mam apko immediately city hospital ana hoga apke husband ki accident ho gayi hai and he is now in the icu" said the women on the other side.
Nandini is shocked. She nearly dropped the phone.
"kya??!!! please keep him safe... I am coming " replied nandini
"and mam plz bring the medicines which Mr. Malhotra is taking everyday " said the women
Nandini cuts the call and rushed to the hospital.

Location : hospital
Nandini, preeti and neonika entered the hospital campus.
"excuse me!!! I am Nandini Malhotra... Abhi call aya tha... " nandini asked the receptionist about the news.
" yes mam.... He is in the ICU... " replied the receptionist
"where is the ICU?? " asked preeti
"wahan se left " receptionist pointed to the straight path followed by a left turn in the end.
The three of them rushed towards the ICU to find police officers standing infront of the ICU.
As they got there, nandini and preeti tried to open the door to pay manik a visit.
But were stopped by the officers.
"mam... Doctor abhi check kar rahe hain unhe... Better not to disturb her... " said one of the officer
Nandini and preeti immediately stopped.
"officer yeh sab kab hua... Aur kaise... " asked neonika preeti still sobbing.
"hume inki car mira road ke paas mili.... Lagta hai inki car jakar deewar se takra gayi... Yeh toh accha hua ki car takrane se pehle hi Mr malhotra car se bahar gir gaye barna joo halat car ki hai, dekh kar lagta hai ki unka bachna muskil tha... " explained the officer
Terror striken both neonika and preeti. They were shocked to hear about a familar spot . Nandini noticed the change in their expression.
"kya hua.... Ap log itne paresaan kuin dikh rahe hai??? " nandini asked out of curiosity.
"mira road!!!!!" preeti murmured
Nandini was confused .
"yeh wahi jagah hai jahan manik aur harsh ka kuch saal pehle accident hua tha... And manik lost his father... " neonika explained with a drop of tear escaping from her eyes.
"tab woh shriff 18 kaa thaa and he lost his best friend. Uske baad se he suddenly Changed..... " neonika stared in to eternity.
Nandini understood that not only she but manik has also lost someone dear to him in his life. She felt a bit sympathetic for manik. But more over she still felt manik to be responsible for all her mishaps in life.
Preeti started crying again.
After sometime the doctor came out of the ICU.
Preeti rushed to the doctor followed by nandini and neonika standing at a distance from them.
"doctor!!! Bhai thik toh hai naa??? " asked preeti.
"he is out of danger.... Blood lose kaffi ho gaya tha... Humne blood chadha diya hai... Injuries bhi janlewa nahi thi... Philhal unhe hosh nahi aya hai...agle 24 hours mein unhe hosh aa jayega... " informed the doctor
"Mrs Malhotra, please app mere saath mere cabin mein aiye... " nandini followed the doctor to her cabin
"plz take a seat.. " after entering the cain both of them took their respective seats.
"Mrs Malhotra, maine apko apke husband ki saari dawaiyan lane ke liya bola tha... App layi hai naa??" asked the doc
"yes doctor.. I brought them... Par doc medicines check kuin karni hai??? " asked nandini
" dekhiye... Apko sunne mein thodi ajib lag sakta hai par treatment ke dohran maine unki mind kay performance mein thodi instability dekhi hai... I don't know why but mujhe aisa lagta hai woh koi galat medicine le rahe hain jo unke brain ko harm kar raha hai.... " explained the doctor
Nandini understood what the doctor was trying to explain. She also figured out that manik's behavior is not normal. She took out all the medicines from her purse and handed it the doctor and the doctor checked them one by one.
The doctor suddenly stopped on one of the medicine.
"Mr malhotra yeh medicine khaa rahe hain???!!! " asked the doctor in a horrifying tone.
"haan... Yeh sab medicine unhe accident ke baad se prescribe ki gayi thi" nandini answered
"oh my god!!!! Yeh kaise koi doctor recommend kar sakta hai... Mrs malhotra... Yeh medicine mental asylum mein use hoti hai patients par. Aur yeh medicine agar kisi achhe insaan ko diya jaye toh woh dheere dheere pagal ho jata hai.... Woh kya karta hai usse kuch yaad nahi rehta.....Mr malhotra ko yeh medicine kon de raha hai??!! " asked a shocked doctor
Nandini totally unable to understand what's going on tried to answer the question but she had no answer .
Nandini's provo "manik ki medicines mein gadbadi... Aisa kaun kar sakta hai.... "
Suddenly nandini is reminded of preeti telling her that ghar ki saari dawaiyan neonika order karti hai. Aur medicines ki list aur prescription saare ussi ke paas hai... Nandini decided to learn the truth.
"doctor!!! I want ki yeh baat apke aur mere beech mein rehni chahiye..... " requested nandini
"but Mrs Malhotra, i can't lie to them" said doc
"kisi bahar wale kaa yeh kaam karna impossible hai.. Either yeh kisi ghar wale ne kiya hai yah phir office mein kisi ne... Mein saach kaa pata lagana chahati huin... Jisne bhi yeh saab kiya hai woh mera bhi gunahegar hai..... Ek baar mujhe saach kaa pata chal jaye phir mein sabko bata dungi... Plz doctor "
after thinking for some seconds the doctor finally agreed with nandini..
"mein apko nayi medicines prescribe kar deti huin... Ap unhe khud medicine dijiye... Aur yeh medicine unhe kisi bhi kimaat par milini nahi chahiye... "
said the doctor writing down some names on a piece of paper.
With the prescription nandini came out of the room.
Nandini's provo "manik nee joo kaiya sayad uske liye woh poori tarah se jimmedar nahi hai.... Mujhe saach kaa pata lagana hai... Yash ke liye... " nandini looked towards the sky thinking of yash.
