Nandini and manik are still inside the lift with manik lying down and nandini trying to get some help already half an hour has passed. Nandini was Nyctophobic. At least light was there inside the lift.
While nandini was trying her best she heard a voice from outside.
"lift ke ander koi hai??? " asked lift mechanic
"yesss.... Yesss.... Dekhiye hum yahan phase hue hai mein aur manik sir... Plz hume yahan se bahar nikaliye" hope rosed inside nandini
"mam hum lift repair kar rahe hain par aur aadha ghanta lagega" said the mechanic
"aadha ghanta!!! Nai nai itni late Dekhiye manik sir ko claustrophobia hai. Unka dam ghut raha hai. Plz jara jaldi kijiye... " said nandini
"nandi...ni!!! " manik groaned
Nandini sat beside manik
"manik.. Plz app himaat rakhiye. Lift abhi thik hoo jayega" said nandini
"tum.. Tum mere paas raho mujhe chod kar kahin mat jao.. " manik placed his head on nandini's lap
Unwillingly nandini allowed manik to rest on her lap as he was in a bad condition.

After half an hour.
The mechanic opened the gate and manik's bodyguard took him out of the lift. They then placed him on a nearby sofa. Manik was unconscious.
Nandini was sitting beside him near the sofa.
After few minutes doc arrived at the spot to check manik.
"he is fine. Kuch der mein hosh aa jayega agar kuch der aur rehte toh sayad harmful ho sakta tha.. " said doctor after checking manik
And then suddenly manik opened his eyes and smiled . The doctor smiled in return too.
"accha toh mein chalta huin. " doctor left the place

After 3 hours
Manik had regained his consciousness in the health care room and nandini was helping him drinking glucose water.
Manik looked at his PA and winked at him.
"par lift achanak kaise band ho sakti hai. I mean ap dono ke jane se toh pehle sab thik tha infact iss lift ki servicing toh abhi hali mein hi huin thi. " said the PA as trained to say
"mujhe bhi kuch gadbad lagti hai. Lets go to the lift control room and ask them. " said nandini
"i will also join you all" said manik trying to get up from his bed
"no manik. Apki condition thik nai hai. " said nandini
"no nandini. I also want to know ki hua kya tha. " said manik
Without anymore discussion nandini with manik and his bodyguards reached the lift control room.
"suniye...abhi yeh lift achnak kaise kharap ho gayi" askes nandini to the lift man.
"mam...hum bhi wahi soch rahe hain. Uss waqt hum dono control room mein nahi the. Lagta hai kisine lift ki control ke saath ched chad kiya hai" said one of the lift control man
"lekin aisa kuin aur kaun karega" asked nandini
"pata nai mam. Hum toh yahan the hi nahi" said the lift man
Then suddenly manik notices a watch lying on the floor near the desk. he picked up the watch and handed it to nandini . Nandini notices the watch and she was shocked because thatwatch was something familiar to her. She knew whom the watch belongs to.
"yeh toh... Yeh toh yash ki watch hai" nandini said in a fumbling voice.
"nandini... Galti se gir gaya hoga... Accha suniye yash yahan aya tha kya" asked manik to the lift man
"nahi sir. Jab hum yahan the tab koi nahi aya. Lagta hai ussi waqt aya hoga jab yahan koi nahi tha " said tge lift man.
"par yash yahan kya kar raha tha. Woh bhi jab yahan koi nahi tha.... Nandini i think yash ko humari friendship pasand nahi hai. Isiliye woh yeh sab kar raha hain. " said manik
"agar usse humari dosti sae problem tha toh mujhe directly bol sakta tha. I would have backed up par aise sab karne ki zarurat kya thi. " manik turns his back towards nandini and smirks.
Nandini in anger dashed out of the room without saying a single word.
