Saying Taeil was one clumsy dork wouldn't be much of a lie.

There wasn't a day he didn't stumble over something with his jelly legs or said total nonsense because he wasn't that good with words. Or just having this stupid nervous look on his face made people feel uneasy.

That's why kids in the kindergarten never befriended him and so didn't people now. He wasn't like these interesting, mysterious boys people wanted to get to know, get under their skin to see the secrets that made them look so cool. He wasn't much of handsome, neither strong looking boy, he was just Taeil.

Taeil, who was given a curse in the form of extraordinary clumsiness since the day he has seen the light of the world for the first time.

Saying he hated it wasn't a lie neither.

And that's why he kept his distance from people, not asking them anything and overall not talking to them at all. He shut himself and his thoughts up. It made everyone's life easier, except his own because he was often lost and had to do things himself. But if he didn't annoy anyone while doing so, he was relieved.

Relieved, not happy though.

Going through his everyday life wasn't anything easy and maybe a little he hoped for someone to just approach him and talk to him like a normal person being. Even if it's only about stupid maths. He lacked social skills which would help him in becoming less clumsy and nervous, but of course, Taeil didn't know that.

If he did, he would try it much sooner.

"Taeil! You're going to be late, again."

A short male was just wearing his clothes while brushing his teeth and putting his notebooks into his messy school bag when an even smaller woman with long dark hair tied into messy bun suddenly came.

"Oh yes, I'm coming." He said but it came out very muffled as he still had toothbrush in his mouth.

"Can't you just wake up sooner for once?" A groan echoed the room as his mom decided to help her poor son who didn't notice he was wearing his t-shirt the wrong side.

Truthfully? He couldn't. Even if he did he still managed to be late and forget something while doing so. It was something that happened on a daily basis, anyhow he tried to change the habit. His mom always tried to help him as she has experienced his clumsiness with him many times, she was just slowly getting tired of it.

They've tried everything, or at least every possible thing; medical help didn't help at all, hypnosis? His mom doesn't believe in stuff like this, yet they tried that too without any progress. If something, it only got worse. They started to believe it's because of his ageing - the older he is, the clumsier he gets.

During the short ride in the car, his mom went over every necessary thing he might have forgotten while he was checking if he really didn't forget. This morning seemed to be more successful than other ones, but the whole day is still in front of him.
