Do people really need to be selfish just to be happy in love?

"Cheska honestly I don't know but love supposed to be selfless, right? Love is not selfish so it means~"

"Anika love is not selfish but people can be selfish." she said and the look in her eyes is purely sadness

What happened to her? She is the most cheerful person I ever met but now she looks really sad.

"Most of the people do everything just to be happy, right? But being selfish? Is it acceptable? When they have what they want and find out that someone is crying because of their happiness will they still be happy? Coz if you'll ask me, I don't think I can happy with that." then a tear fell from her eye

Where is the Cheska that is full of hope when it comes to love? Where is the Cheska who believes in true love?

"I don't know what happened but Cheska you can't be happy without other people getting hurt. There always be someone who is hurting because you are happy. It's bullsh!t if someone says to me, right in my face that they can be happy without hurting other people. Love and hurt goes hand in hand. I'm not Ms. Love Expert or Ms Hurt Expert but that's how life and love goes."

Then she asked a jaw dropping question...

"...so you would rather hurt me just to be happy."

"No!"

Friend over Lover!

Then she cried like there is no tomorrow. And she opened up.

I wish I can help Cheska with her problem. I can't imagine how she is coping with her mother having an  affair. A girl who believes in the magic of love is having a problem because of love.

"You know sis, believing or hoping for love doesn't mean you will not encounter love problems. With her problem, it will just test how hopeful she is when it comes to love." 

"When she asked me if I will hurt her for me to be happy, I felt like it was the most difficult question that were asked to me.” then I let out a sigh

“Oh my God, maybe she has a crush on Mr. Yummy Boss then she saw that he is falling for you so she asked it.” I looked at Yana as if she is a crazy woman

 “Yana! First, she doesn’t have a crush on Sir Luke. I asked her that.”

 “You are not sure about that, maybe she’s just saying it that she doesn’t but she does.”  She said and she nodded like she hit a good reason

 I rolled my eyes at her, “Second, where did ‘Mr. Yummy Boss’ came from?”

  “…it came from your own mouth that he was handsome… he has a good body… and he has so much sex-appeal running through his body...” she grinned

  Wait did I said that? Sex-appeal running through his body? Okay I told her the handsome and good body thing but that sex-appeal…

 “Don’t try… you said that he has so much sex-appeal.” Did she have a power to read minds?

 “And lastly… he is not falling for me!”

  “…he is. You don’t know he might experience the magic of LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!”

  “Whatever!” I rolled my eyes to her “…Love at first sight my As$!”

  “I agree,”   what? Agree with what?  “…maybe he experience love at first sight when he saw your as$!” then she laughed

"There is no such thing as Love at first sight Yana. You can't love a person instantly when you first sees him. It can be admiration but love? Come on! Do you still believe with that? It only happens in movies and novels."

"I didn't know you are an Anti-Love sis!" she said while rolling her eyes

"I'm not an anti! I'm just being realistic here."

"Have you ever experience love at first sight?" she asked

"Nope!"

"Seriously?"

"You are my BESTFRIEND, and as far as I remember you knew every single detail about me and my relationships."

"Sis, yes I'm your BESTFRIEND but I didn't know that you don't have a romantic bone in your body."

 I rolled my eyes at her. "Having a romantic bone or not is not an issue here Yana, the issue here is that Luke will never fell in love with me. Especially, love at first sight that's impossible."

"Why did I have a feeling that you are a little disappointed that it is impossible for him not to experience that?" then she grinned

God! I hate it when she grins.

"I'm not! I'm just... Aaaargh! Let's just end this discussion!" 

I'm not disappointed, I'm just being realistic. Men like Lucas Alvonich has a shield for love. From what I heard he doesn't know love and the romantic things about it. All he knows is LUST. Maybe he knows Lust in first sight but love? Definitely NO!

"Fine! But just remember love is not just a word that you can read in books or hear in movies, it's a feeling that even the smartest person in the world became stupid because of it. It can even make the strongest person week. Don't under-estimate it."

LOVE? Love at first sight? Is it really love?

"Luke! Bro! Can you stop pacing?"

Ever since Ms. Maid came to this house he acted so weird. Before, I wished that he meets a girl that will make him fall from his knees but now I’m not sure if I want that to happen.

Now I know why people like the novels with the bad boy falling for a girl deeply. It’s like seeing an alien. It’s an out of this world experience.

“I’m not pacing, I’m just… just…”

“Just? Just what? Walking back and forth inside this fvcking room! If I will be asked to choose between watching you here and riding in a roller coaster twenty times non-stop, I will choose the roller coaster ride!”

He didn’t say anything but he stares at me like I said something offensive. Then he started fvcking pacing again.

“Bro will you stop pacing? Please?”

“I’m not…”

“Sh!t bro stop saying that you’re not pacing ‘cause you are! Man you are giving me a reason to believe that what I’m thinking is right that you, Lucas Alvonich fell in love with Anika the first time you sees her.”

“I’m not in love with her and I will never be!” he said and I laughed

He kept denying it but it shows in his actions.

I tapped his shoulder, “Man you just feel the magic of love at first sight…” 

“You are so gay Miggy! Love at first sight is not real! You can't feel love after seeing a girl for the first time. You sounded like a woman dreaming for a fairytale love story."

“Says the guy who is pacing like a girl waiting for her prom date.”

"Fvck you!"

"Love you too Romeo" I retorted and laughed

 Ms. Maid is really something, she just made Luke like this without doing anything.  You just can't meet a maid that has an angelic face with a body as hot as hell while walking in the streets. Speaking of her angelic face, I'm sure that I saw her before but where could it be?

Could it be in a bar? I don't think she likes going to bars and I don't go to ordinary bars. Could it be in  a party? Impossible!

Where could it be? In a restaurant? Mall? Coffeshop? 

Where?!
