The dull sounds of the television set come across like a distant conversation, but Jack doesn't move. He's way too warm and comfortable right now to want to do anything but just lay here. The feeling of Marvin's heat and silky hair the only things that matter in his fuzzy mind. He could stay here in this world for a little while longer before the cold reality of what his life was now fully began to shift into gear and have him reevaluate his choices.

"There's no reason why we have to worry about him," says a voice. "He's sweet and harmless. He's in so much pain with what happened."

"You think everyone is in pain," mutters a much gruffer voice. The sarcasm and bitterness way too familiar for Jack to already know who is speaking. "And you think that a fucking tug and suck is the best way to - "

Anti stops talking, and then there is silence. Jack opens his eyes and glances around the living room. Marvin is gone, and the warmth he had been feeling was from a very thick blanket placed over his chest and legs. The large television is still on, but muted. The happy face on the screen opening and closing their mouths but the words coming from what is absolutely the kitchen behind him.

"Jay is right," Marvin sighs, and Jack connects that Anti had been quieted by the silent man of the group. "Fighting isn't going to do anything, and that includes insulting me."

There is a scoffing laugh that erupts that echoes through the house, and Marvin huffs out of his nose.

"Did you and your libido even think about what Schneep said about the first few days with a new roomie? First Chase fucks him within a few hours of his landing on our doorstep like some sort of abandoned kitten... "

Marvin coos at the idea of this, and Jameson gives a small silent chuckle. Anti glares at the mute, and then continues.

"Then you give him another round on the living room couch? I hate to sound like the responsible one, but what the hell, Marvin?"

"You're just upset that Jack accidentally interrupted us earlier," Marvin hisses back. "Like he's the one who gave you blue balls and you couldn't finish up in your - "

"I can hear you," Jack calls out, and the sound of three sets of feet head from the kitchen and into the living room. The only face that Jack hasn't met belongs to the man in the middle. The thick black moustache, the older styled clothing, and the monocle clearly letting him know who this man is. Marvin looks like in the time that he had left Jack asleep on the couch he has taken a shower. The long white hair is tied back in what looks like a glorified man bun as he bites his lip in what looks like slight concern. Anti is positively scowling at him as if he has a small pile of shit on his face and he would like to volunteer to throw him out with the rest of the garbage.

"Sorry," Marvin begins, his blue eyes darting from Jack and back over to Anti. "I told you that we should have discussed this someplace else."

Anti rolls his green eyes, and Jameson nudges him.

"Thank you for the food earlier," Jack says, smiling over at the mute, who smiles back and face turns incredibly red. This does not help Anti's mood at all.

"What? You're fucking feeding him too? Yeah, totally a lost kitten."

Marvin's air of politeness leaves him at this point and he stares at the taller man, as if trying to size him up. Jameson gets out of their way and joins Jack on the couch.

"You need to watch your tone with both of them," Marvin snaps as he gestures at the two men.

"And you need to stay the fuck out of this before you get all of us kicked out. Schneep has only a few rules and you are breaking them. I'm shocked that Chase only got a warning  considering what he and this pain in the ass did in - "

Jack clears his throat at this and all eyes are on him again. He's tired of being talked about as if he isn't in the room and doesn't have a thought or and opinion of his own. Granted, maybe he should have waited before doing what he did with Chase and Marvin, but no one in this house are children, and he most certainly not a kitten or whatever else the hell Anti is calling him.

"I'll tell Schneep myself what happened," Jack grumbles, and Marvin's mouth opens up in complete shock. "If he wants me to leave because of it I will, but I don't need to be talked about or defended. Are we clear?"

Jameson is the first one who gives a nod of agreement, with Marvin recovering and also giving a small yes as he moves closer to the couch and sits on Jack's right side. Anti snorts.

"Fine, outvoted again, apparently," the green haired man sneers. "It's your funeral, Jack. I just can't wait for you to get kicked out on your ass."
