Namjoon opens the door with a wide smile and holds his arms out, "Mom!"
"Hello my precious son," She chuckles and brings her only baby boy in her arms, "It's been so long."
"We visited you last weekend Ma," Namjoon laughs.
"A week away from my boy is enough," she chuckles, cupping his cheeks, "I'm so glad Seokjin is feeding you, you're not so skinny and sunken faced anymore."
"Yeah, he sure knows how to cook Ma."
"I sure hope so, growing in a household where food is important I hope he feeds you well, and my grand babies."
"Ma," Namjoon says in warning, "Please don't start anything."
"What? I'm not starting anything silly boy," she coos, "I just want what's best for my baby boy and his daughters."
"And their mother, Ma."
"Yeah and him too," his mom hums, looking around, "Where is the said man?"
"Getting the girls' bags ready," Namjoon laughs, "when he first told them you were coming over they couldn't wait. Then when he mentioned them possibly staying the night they were thrilled! They can't wait, they love going over to your place, Ma."
"I'm glad," his mom smiles so kindly, her own set of dimples popping out of her cheeks as she done so, "I miss my movie nights with my girls."
"How are my sisters by the way? They hardly keep in contact with me," Namjoon asks, bringing his mother to sit in the living room as they wait on Seokjin and the girls.
"They're doing fine. You know your little sister is enjoying the newlywed life and the other one is trying to convince her husband to have a second baby."
"Oh wow, I hope they succeed. Her little boy needs a sibling to play with and keep him company."
"They will, much like you my sweet," she smiles, hearing squeals and looking over to see the girls running straight for her, "Hello my precious angels!"
"Nanna! I colored you a pretty picture want to see!?" Jiyoo says loudly, which was unusual for the child since she's always quiet and shy.
"Jiyoo inside voices please," Namjoon reminds her and the child shyly hugs her Nanna. Jiwoo on the other hand...
"NANA!!! Are we going to your place?!?!" She screams, once again making Namjoon shush them both and calm them down. His mother wasn't the toughest when it came to holding both four year old children and he worried of them hurting her.
She chuckles, "You most certainly are! And Jiyoo I would love to see your pretty picture, please, go bring it to me!"
Jiyoo nods quickly, giggling and running off to go grab it. Seokjin enters the room shaking his head fondly and chuckling, "Hello Youngji, how have you been this week?"
"Doing well, husband and I are getting around fine," she responds back giving her full attention back to Jiwoo as she drones on about her week at school and playing with Mayleen.
Seokjin smiles, his smile was a little small as he turns on his heel and walks towards the kitchen to try and offer her coffee or tea. She never usually drinks anything here when she visits, but Seokjin wasn't going to be impolite and not offer anything when you enter his home. Namjoon shoots his mother a look and the woman simply ignores him, going back to talking to his granddaughter while the other one enters with a pretty picture she colored for her grandmother earlier.
Namjoon stands, excusing himself to go help Seokjin who is brewing his mother in law's coffee. Namjoon hugs him from behind and kisses the back of his neck, "I don't know why she's like this."
