character: Chloe and miss Claver
Chloe didn't realize that something was wrong, no she was far too curious to stop walking and when they changed paths, she just thought that Sasha had found a secret hide out or something but the truth was far more cruller.
"Her asking me to go to the forest with her as the sun went down and the moon rose should have started the warning bells," Chloe said to her shrink "but then again I was naive and innocent I didn't know what I know now, I didn't know that I could trust no one."
"do you regret going?" miss Claver asked.
"Every day of my life." Chloe said certainly.
"Are you sure?" miss Claver asked "I'm guessing because of that incident you found out that they weren't your friends."
"I would have rather lived my life in a blissful ignorance then live my life knowing the truth. Some say that knowing the truth is better than being lied to but given the chance to pick wouldn't you rather live unknown to the truth and happy instead of knowing the truth and feel miserable?"
That got miss Claver thinking.
See, she is just only human and given the chance she would escape being hurt and sad but she also knew that she will always be curious so would the escape from realty really be worth the insatiable curiosity?
Deep down she knew that her answer was yes but she said "I wouldn't know because I was never given the chance to choose."
