Emma knocked on Regina's door holding a bottle of wine and a bunch of flowers. She's wearing a smart suit and her hair is straight like usual. Regina opened the door and was a little taken back by the view. She smiled impressed at what she's seeing. Emma knee for answers she had to make the effort tonight

"Well hello" Regina says surprised.

"I thought I'd make an effort tonight. These are for you" Emma says smirking.

She held the flowers and wine to Regina. The brunette took them before kissing Emma softly. They walked into the house and to the kitchen. Regina poured the wine for both woman before giving one to Emma. They then headed to the living room and sat on he floor.

"I love the suit" Regina says as she held onto the blazer.

"I should hope so. It's my good one" Emma smirked moving closer.

Regina kissed Emma softly. As it deepened the brunette remembered what she saw earlier. She pulled away and looked into Emma's eyes.

"Will you go out with me" Regina asked smiling slightly.

"What do you mean? Like on a date? We're on a date" Emma asked with a chuckle.

"No I mean will you be my girlfriend? We be exclusive you know" she asked now holding Emma's hands in hers.

The blonde thought about the question. For some messed up reason she wanted to say yes but didn't know if she should. Regina would find out about Logan. Maybe that was a good thing. In time Regina would find out if it ever gets serious. Just Emma's last serious relationship ended badly. She knew she had to say yes but wasn't going to rush into anything.

"Yes... but we take it slow" Emma replied smiling.

"Do we have to hide" Regina asked.

"No just one thing"

"What"

"Stop trying to get me fired" Emma says making herself and Regina laugh.

Regina leaned in and kissed Emma softly. They held each other close. Regina still could see Emma kissing Alex in her mind. Regina pulled away and looked at Emma again.

"Are you hiding something from me" Regina asked knowing the answer.

"Why do you keep asking that? What do you know or think you know" Emma asked with a sigh.

"I know your hiding something. What is it" Regina asked quickly.

"Fine. Might as well... I love you" Emma lied as her eyes looked just under Regina's.

"Wait what" Regina asked shocked.

"I know it's too soon. You asked and I told you" Emma says feeling bad she's lying.

"Whoa. I wasn't expecting that. I thought you were going to tell me about Alex" Regina says not meaning to let it out.

"That's what you know! How do you know about that" Emma says as she jumped to her feet.

"Because I caught you twice" regina says as she stood up.

"What? When? How" Emma asked annoyed and confused.

"Before the trip and today. I knew you were hiding something" Regina says frowning.

"I knew you knew something. I said that to get it out of you" Emma blurts out.

"You don't love me? Why would you say something like that? What else don't I know Emma" Regina asked feeling hurt.
